Another great day!

Another fabulous day! I’ve seen some great work again today. Shout outs go today to Shena and Nik for great Maths, Phoebe and Junior for fabulous reading comprehension and Cole and Shashank for their great writing using the past tense.

I have a great big shout out for Esther. Mr Pickering and I have been so impressed with how much enthusiasm and effort you are putting into your expedition learning. Well done Esther, you are doing such a wonderful job! Phoebe and Cole too have been working their socks off and doing fantastic expedition work.  Well done to you two as well, I really look forward to seeing your work! Here is the Plover Posse award for the three of you.

Mr Pickering will be back tomorrow so please remember to ask for help if you need it!

A good day

Well done to everyone who has logged on today, there has been some great learning about Henry VIII’s wives and some fantastic arithmetic.  A big shout out goes to Nik who has created this amazing piece of Mondrian inspired art work for his Maths learning on horizontal and vertical lines. Great job!

Morning Year 3, I hope you had a lovely evening.

We’ve got lots to do today so head over to our Google Classroom and get started. Make sure you do the daily feelings check in and let me know how you’re doing.

Today we’ll be looking at Henry VIII’s first three wives – do you know anything about them already?

Look what Floyd & Morris have been up to!

The boys have been observing tadpoles grow and along with Mum, they’ve been sharing the life cycle along the way with me. The boys have been so intrigued they’ve even researched further facts to be able to explain what is happening and what will happen next. I am so impressed boys and I am learning lots from you so please keep it up and keep informing me. A huge well done you little superstars!

I hope you’ve had a lovely weekend. Don’t forget to log on to our classroom and let me know how you are and what you’ve been up to. I can’t wait to get busy with our learning this week, I was so impressed last week!  We’ll be looking at 3D shapes in Maths this week and continue our Tudor Tales diary writing. Today we will look at portraits of Henry VIII and look at what we can find out about him from them.

It’s the weekend!

What an amazing week it’s been on our Google Classroom.  There has been so much excellent work and I have been blown away at the amount of effort you have been putting it to your online learning. Keep it up!
