Home Learning in 2P

It has been great to see the children’s learning has not stopped in the classroom. Look at the fabulous work that has also been completed at home. Including jellyfish, habitats and a bug hotel. I’m really impressed that they all include recycled materials. Keep the super work coming in, they are a welcome addition to our learning environment.

Enjoying Expedition and Multiplying in Maths

The children have enjoyed being detectives, researching the characteristics of animals and animal groups.

Then they created arrays from multiplication equations.

Great to see smiling faces and supportive working partnerships.

Plover Praise Postcard

Lena has worked super hard today, she has worked independently and conscientiously in English and Expedition.  What was even more impressive was that she pushed herself and achieved green standard in Maths.  What a superstar 🌟

We have had a great week in 2P.

The children have used origami to create dolphins for the learning environment.

The children critiqued their artwork, explaining clearly what we needed to improve, the perseverance the children showed was amazing.  Some completed 5 sketches, making improvements all the time. Showing resilience and a pride in their work.

The children also thought carefully about our hook week activities and wrote their notices and praises.

A truly super start to the new term.

We are now really excited to learn more about out new expedition.

Welcome Back 2P

Welcome back everyone. We had a fabulous first day back in 2P, enjoying our hook week activities.  The children really reflected on how what we use in our everyday life affects our planet. Please encourage your child to complete the plastic diary sent home yesterday.

Watch out for the amazing notices and wonders the children are currently writing – some truly awesome work coming your way!

KS1 Nativity – Hey Ewe

The KS1 Crew want to wish our fabulous parents a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year.  What better way to get you in the mood for Christmas than to see our Nativity.  We are so proud of our children, due to illnesses we had many children change roles on a daily basis, this even happened on the day of filming!  This just shows how awesome they all are.

A huge thank you to you all for providing costumes for your children, they looked amazing.

Follow the link below for the nativity, sit back, relax and enjoy the show!

On behalf of KS1 staff we would like to praise all children for their enthusiasm, hard work, knowledge and creativity during this whole expedition – you have been awesome!

The children completed their presentation of learning speeches last Thursday which conclude this video and launch our final product posters and postcards which will go public in the New Year! To share their appreciations and state their pledges to becoming a hero within our community!

You showed courage, talent and confidence and you should be so very proud of yourself! Congratulations and a huge well done Atlas! #loveplover.
