PE – Message for Parents.

Hello,

Obviously in these current times, PE lessons are not how they would usually be! Joe Wicks has been phenomenal with his workout videos.

There are additional things the children can be doing at home too.

The Association for Physical Education (who are a very well known and highly regarded organisation for PE Teachers and Teachers) have put online help for parents to help with PE at home.

New week

It is Monday again already and I hope you are all keen for more great learning. Over in the Classroom there is the start of different daily activities with crafts, skills and activities for you to do as we build up the 75th anniversary of VE Day on Friday. Why not make a start today on making bunting to decorate your house on Friday? Get all of your family involved so you can make more. The idea is that you can have your own mini-party on Friday. Make sure you send in pictures and videos throughout the week of anything you do.

I am supporting pupils in school today do Mrs Lewis will look after you online. I will check in with you if and when I can.

Have a fab day.

Pyjamarama.

What a great day. There have been so many great pictures shared with me of places you have been reading or book covers that you have created. It has been lovely to see them. Here are just a few examples. I’m sorry if I haven’t shared yours but the blog would go on forever if I included all of them!

I hope you have enjoyed some of the different activities you have had the chance to do. Next week is the week building up to the 75th anniversary of VE Day in World War 2. Watch out for tasks linked to this that will build up to you having your own mini-party at home in celebration.

Remember we are now going in to the weekend so please do not log in to the classroom for the next two days – there is no expectation for you to log in at all. Also remember to log in during school hours only. You really do not need to be in the classroom at 7 o’clock at night! You need a break as well!

Have a great weekend and stay safe.

Rainbow Tree of Thanks

Our children in school have been so busy creating a beautiful tree of thanks to the Key Workers of the NHS.

I’m sure you will agree it is a lovely way to say Thank You and is now in our school entrance.

Pride of Plover winner is…

This week’s winner is…

Troy M!

Well done Troy. You have barely missed a day online and have tried to complete almost everything that has been asked of you. You have worked so hard and been very perseverant. You deserve this. Congratulations!

Pyjamarama Day

Good morning everyone!

It’s Pyjamarama day. Find out more about it here: http://www.booktrust.org.uk/books-and-reading/have-some-fun/pyjamarama/pyjamarama-activities/ There are some additional tasks in the classroom today that you might choose to do as well as the regular learning tasks that are on there. You might even have the chance to win a prize when we return to school! You also get to spend all day in your PJ’s!

I am here to support you through the day again today so please ask if you have any questions. Hopefully I won’t have as many technical problems with the Classroom today as it was a bit of a nightmare yesterday! You can also help each other out as well, if you can.

I can’t believe we are through another week again already. Please remember to only do school learning during normal school hours. I really don’t expect any learning to be done late into the evening or even over the weekend – we all need a break. You can always use TTRockstars etc over a weekend if you feel you really must do something.

Have a great day and please keep sharing your pictures with me. Come back at 9.30am to find out the 3P winner of Pride of Plover this week.

Plover Posse Award

Jamilia has been working hard today at school and has completed both an expedition task and her maths work! Mrs Brown was so please with Jamilia that she won a Plover Posse Award. Well done! And keep up all the hard work!
