It’s competition time!

This week we will be having a competition to see who can build the best Tudor House. Yesterday you found out about traditional Tudor Homes and today in our Expedition lesson, we are asking you plan, build and critique your own Tudor House.

You can build it out of anything you want, the choice is yours! You can use old cardboard boxes, Lego, whatever you have available will be perfect.

There are prizes to be won so make sure you email a photo of your Tudor House to your class teacher by Friday 22nd May and Mrs Ogle will then choose a winner from each class.

Good luck everybody, we can’t wait to see what you create!

Feel Good Friday

As always, thank you so much to everyone who gets involved- we love seeing your happy faces! Next week we want to dedicate our video to the NHS and all other key workers so please send in pictures of rainbows, thank you posters, you and your families clapping for the NHS etc (you can be as creative as you like) can we please have all pictures to [email protected] by Friday at 9am.

Time for the weekend!

Thank you to everyone who has contributed and worked so hard on your learning in the classroom today. I have seen some great reflection and analysis of different diary entries. Next week, you will have the chance to use all of the skills you have been learning in a final write.

One amazing piece of learning that I have to share with you today is from Pranav. Having studied the Tudor family tree earlier in the week, he has now created his own family tree. It is awesome – well done Pranav!

Remember that the classroom is closed over the weekend. It is really important that you have a well earned break and remember that you are not expected to be working late into the evening. Aim to be online during normal school hours only.

The end of the week

Well, it’s the end of another week. Well done to everyone for outstanding learning this week, you’ve really made me proud.

Shout outs today go to Layla, Nikita and Alfie for their brilliant Family Trees.You all did something different and special and I really thought they were all great.

Next week we will be carrying on with our Tudors Expedition and we will be building our own Tudor Houses, so make sure you hang on to any boxes that you could use in your model. Mrs Ogle will be judging the Tudor House competition and the winner will get a prize!

I hope you all have a great weekend, remember to stay safe and keep washing your hands.

Well I can’t believe that we are at the end of another week already. Every week seems to be going faster and faster!

Good Morning!

Welcome back to another day of fabulous learning opportunities. It has been great to see so many people managing to get online to join me in the classroom. There was some excellent writing done yesterday. Today there is chance to get on to Rockstars and ReadTheory in case you haven’t done this yet this week. Remember you should be trying to get on at least twice a week each. There is also Epic Reading which has access to whole books. The details are in the classroom.

Remember the finger spelling challenge. The link is on my blog so if you scroll down a couple of posts you will find the link there. I have also added the file into the classroom so you can access it from there as well.

Mrs Lewis is back in the online classroom today and will oversee things as I am in school again. As always, I will check in as and when I can throughout the day.
