Hello 3G

This is my first post for my new class 3G!

I am really looking forward to getting to know you better and I am sorry we can’t be in school to talk in person but here are some facts about me for now:

I have two children , Tom is at University in Lincoln studying science and Harry is about to go into Year 11 at school. Both boys love rugby and one of my favourite things to do is to watch them play in rugby matches.

I enjoy running and yoga and it is my plan to do more of both over the summer.

I like to go on holiday in this country and enjoy going to the Yorkshire Dales because of the great walks in the countryside.

I hope to find out more about you too – so why don’t you let me know what your favourite things are by emailing me: [email protected]

I am really looking forward to September, and I hope you are too.

Remote Learning

Hi KS1, I think we all hoped this wouldn’t happen again this year, but we find ourselves in a situation where we will be seeing each other through Google Classroom again 🙁

I know that you were all looking forward to meeting your new teachers on Monday and our Crew Building Day on Wednesday. Keep checking in with us each morning as we are trying to rearrange the field trip to the woods, and during our morning Google Check in on Monday, you will get to find out your new classes and teacher. How exciting!

Tomorrow we will have a check in at 9.30am, we will explain the days learning to you. We will also have an afternoon fun check in at 1pm and at 2.30pm you can join Mr Meade for an active fun session!

Just to confirm that we will be back in the classroom on Friday 16th July 2021.

If you need a reminder of how to access Google Classroom, please follow the link below. If you need any support accessing the work, please drop us an email.

We will see you all in the morning.

Non Uniform Day Wednesday – COME ON ENGLAND!

Hi all,

With England’s fantastic result in the Quarter Finals on Saturday. We here at Plover are going to show our support by having a England themed non-uniform day on Wednesday, as England are playing in the Semi-Final on Wednesday evening!

If you don’t have England kits, don’t worry, you can wear other football shirts, PE/sports clothes or something red and white to represent England!

Could it finally be coming home?

PE Kit

Good Morning everyone,

Just a reminder we have PE this afternoon, bring suitable clothing for this unpredictable weather (t-shirt, waterproof top, shorts/joggers, different pair of trainers, NO earrings)

Also, with England’s magnificent win on Saturday Plover will be getting into the football spirit on Wednesday by having a ‘England/ football shirt/ sports wear’ non uniform day. To show our support for England in the semi-final #ComeOnEngland #ItsComingHome #LovePlover

Awesome Maths

We have done some brilliant work on division in the 3 times table. The children used word problems to create models that helped them to prove their answers. They then used this to create division equations from what they had discovered. Great work everyone!
