Is it old or is it new?

In expedition today we learnt about how we could tell if a teddy bear was old or new. The children worked in pairs to decide if the pictures showed an old or a new bear. They then made an anchor chart of what they had learnt.

Rainbow Bears crew adventure

Rainbow has already played on the trampoline and been to an aunties baby gender reveal party.

Last night Rainbow enjoyed time with Reuben, drawing pictures, watching TV and listening to a bedtime story. I wonder what heā€™ll get up to with Ada? #LovePlover

Beary nice biscuits!

We hope the children enjoyed eating their bear biscuits today. They really enjoyed baking and decorating them in school today. It was the highlight of our rainy day!

Thank you to all who bought a biscuit. All the money will be used to buy teddy bears and care packages for the local children’s home.

Old, Special Bear

In expedition today we were historians and looked at a very old special bear. The children worked collaboratively to make a jigsaw of Mrs Bubbā€™s old bear. We discussed what the curiosity box bear means to Mr Meadeā€™s dad and how he has looked after it for 65 years. The children said how they knew it was old by the faded colour, the fur and how it was really floppy. The children then drew their families and special bears they have at home. #LovePlover

EYFS Colour Run

Colour Run Reminder:
Thursday 3rd October (this Thursday)

Can all children please come in white or light clothing on Thursday, which you don’t mind getting covered in powder paint! (All paint is child friendly and washable)
Children can also wear sunglasses to protect their eyes, if you wish.

All we ask is children bring in a donation for the Plover Pantry – dry foods (pastas, rice, lentils, cereals), tinned food (soups, beans, corned beef), drinks (bottled water, bottled cordial) etc.

We look forward to having a vibrant and colourful day!

Thanks
