Year 6 London meeting and information regarding end of year celebrations!
Tomorrow I look forward to welcoming parents at 3:15 regarding the London residential and to share further information regarding the end of year celebrations. Please sign in for the meeting at the main office.

KS2 Euros party! Thursday 20th June 4:30pm-7pm
On Thursday 20th June, KS2 will be having a euros party to celebrate the game. We are asking children to come to the party dressed in either red, white or blue. If children do not have anything in these colours, they are welcome to come in any outfit they choose.
The event will be £1.50 which will include a hotdog and a drink and all funds raised will go towards a McDonalds treat for the Year 6’s going to London and a McDonald’s treat for the Year 6’s who will be staying in school.
Additional sweets will be available to purchase in addition to raise further funds. The event will start at 4:30pm and finish at 7:00pm promptly. Children must be collected by an adult from this event.
Next week, KS2 children will be decorating their own plain t-shirts ahead of the game. If you are happy for your child to decorate a t-shirt, please send the t-shirt into school no later then next Tuesday.

KS2 Dodgeball and Cross Country Events Today
Can the KS2 children who are taking part in the Dodgeball event at Kingfisher and Cross Country event at Mount Carmel after school at 3.30pm today, all come in their PE kits to school.
Thank you parents for transporting your children to these events after school.
Year 5 early bird Monday-Thursday 8:15-8:40
Starting Monday 3rd June, Year 5 pupils are invited to an early bird learning session every morning Monday-Thursday from 8:15. This will allow them to work on their academic pledges with the support of Year 5 & 6 staff.

Just a reminder to our lovely Year 6’s. You are all amazing and we are so, so proud of you all!
SATs don’t measure sport and SATs don’t measure art,
SATs don’t measure music or the kindness in your heart.
SATs don’t see your beauty, SATs don’t know your worth,
SATs don’t see the reasons you were put upon this earth.
SATs don’t see your magic or how you make others smile.
SATs don’t time how quickly you can run a mile.
SATs don’t hear your laughter or see you’ve come this far,
SATs are just a tiny glimpse of who you truly are.
So sitting at your table, with a pencil and your test.
Remember SATs aren’t who you are,
remember you’re the best!
We are all so proud of each and everyone of you Year 6. Your commitment to learning this year has been amazing. You are going to smash your SATs next week! Enjoy your weekend and have lots of fun- you deserve it!

Friday 17th– N/A -After SATs bbq and children vs parents rounders match!
