Thank You Key Stage 1

Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to say a massive ‘Thank You’ to all of our pupils and parents.  It has been a truly fabulous week for learning, as I am sure you will agree from the photographs blogged so far this week.

I wanted to share with you how well our learning environments are coming on.  Still lots more fun to be had, but they are already looking great.

The children have worked so hard – and played hard, I have never enjoyed playing in the snow as much – the best snowball fight ever!

Have a great weekend everyone.  Stay safe and I look forward to seeing you all next.

Well done for a super week 3T and 3L. I am really proud of all your efforts this week, both for the children online and in school.

I also just want to apologise for the ICT ‘glitches’ during the disco! I am seeking some ICT support to try and improve things for next time, thank you for being so patient with me. Miss Lister and I are lucky to teach such mature children!

Congratulations to Angel for winning the Pride of Plover for her independence and confidence when working online. Well done to Eva too for her independence when working online abs submitting wonderful work. Keep an eye on your post!

Have a lovely weekend and we look forward to seeing you on Monday!

Thank you year 5/6!

Today’s superstars

Thank you so much for all the fantastic learning that has been sent in. Shout outs go to Myla, Shay and Avianna for fantastic learning on line today.

Emma and Mason have worked extremely hard in school. They have made snowmen, painted pictures, made stories as well as reading, writing, maths, phonics and history.

Well done you two. I am very proud of the learning that you have produced today.

Friday’s maths

Friday’s maths
Ordering and exploring numbers within 15
In this lesson, we will begin to introduce ordinal numbers and explore patterns of numbers within 15.
You will notice that you need the map for Old Mother Hubbard. You could create this map by drawing the different places.
To follow up the activity today can you explore what happens if you use different amounts of cubes/objects? Which numbers are odd and which ones are even?

This is the link to the video.

3. Practice reading and writing these words. Use your imagination, how can you write them? Use feltips, write them in shaving foam, make them out of dough. Put them somewhere you will see them so you can learn them.
