Good Morning Year 3!
Another week is almost over, they are really flying by.
Make sure you log on to the Google Classroom and let me know how you are feeling and don’t forget to look at 9.30am and see who our Pride of Plover winner is this week.
I hope you enjoy the last day of the ‘holidays’, I’m looking forward to our new expedition beginning on Monday!
Good morning!
I can’t seem to get my head around how quickly each week seems to be flying by. It is so hard to keep your mind busy and to make sure we don’t waste any days – even though it is very difficult at the minute. I have found that I have managed to read a lot more, which has been excellent. I have just finished a book called Moonlocket by Peter Bunzl which is a great adventure. If you are a more confident reader, you may fancy challenging yourself with this. Let me know of any books you have enjoyed reading and we can share your recommendations with each other on this blog.
Mrs Lewis will look after you again in the classroom today and I look forward to seeing you all again on Monday when we start a brand new expedition looking at the Tudors. Make sure you check in to start this exciting new learning.
Have a great day and enjoy your weekend.
I hope you have all been enjoying the weather today, it’s been such a lovely day.
Shout outs today go to Anastasija, Shyaw, Nik and Anez! Thanks for letting me know what you’ve been up to.
Tomorrow we’ll be announcing our Pride of Plover winner – I wonder who it could be!
Stay safe, see you tomorrow!
I am sure lots of you have seen this amazing gentleman raising millions of pounds for our NHS. We would love to send him some birthday cards for his 100th birthday on the 30th April. If you would like to make Tom a card, please share them with your teachers or with me [email protected] by next Thursday- this could be a simple ‘happy birthday Tom’ poster which you are holding and your parents take a photo of and email in. We will then create a special booklet of your photos to send him! Let’s make this heroes day by sending him as many special Plover birthday wishes as possible!
Good morning 3P!
With all of this change to my normal routines I have found that I am not being as active as I usually am when we are at school. I have decided that I will make a pledge to myself to try and do something physical everyday to solve this problem. Maybe you could do the same? The aim would be to do something that would get your heart-rate up and make you out of breath for at least 20 minutes. Let me know what you are pledging to do and maybe even send me photos or videos of you doing it. There is a challenge on the Easter menu with lots of exercise ideas that might help you.
Mrs Lewis is looking after the classroom again today so please sign in and say hello.
Have a great day and stay safe – especially if you are out in the sun!
Morning Year 3!
Make sure you log on to our Google Classroom and let me know how you are, I’m missing you all! I’m excited because I’m looking forward to our next expedition that’s beginning on Monday but I’m starting to get a bit fed up of chocolate!
Why not have a go at some of the White Rose Maths activities? Could you draw a map of your street or build a biscuit tower and measure it? I don’t think my biscuit tower would get very tall, I’d probably keep eating them!
What a great day again! Shout outs today go to Anez, Nik, Shyaw, Kian and Lauma from 3L and Zeynep, Pranav and Esther from 3P. It’s great to hear from you!
Well done to Anez and Kian for continuing with Read Theory and Lauma and Liam for keeping up with TTRockstars. Well done!
Did any of you do an obstacle course in your garden? It’s been the perfect weather for it!
I hope you enjoy the rest of your afternoon, see you in the morning!
