The second video be a fun exercise video- this can be any form of exercise, running, skipping, playing football, riding a bike, trampolining, dancing etc (be as creative and funny as you like with social distancing in mind) and please get all of your household involved! Shout out to Liam’s mum in 6B for getting involved in this one! All videos to [email protected] by Thursday at 4pm!

ROMAN SMITH for persevering in phonics and reading.

Roman has worked so hard on his phonics and reading over the last few weeks. This week he has continued working hard and has started reading words and sentences! We are all so proud of you! Well done!

My caterpillar story

Today’s learning is based around your new story. Write your story onto separate sheets of paper to make into a book. Be the illustrator and draw the pictures too.

Can you make some hand prints or foot prints? Measure them. Which is the longest? Who has the longest in your family? You could make them into a caterpillar. Is it a real caterpillar or is it pretend?

Today is Pyjamarama Day. Have a story in your pyjamas!

Where did everyone go?

It’s been very quiet online today. I’ve been feeling a little lonely!

Here’s a big get well shout out for Skyla who has broken her arm! Get well soon!

Thank you to Theo, Lena.C, Ellie and Roman for sharing your learning in maths, reading and writing. Well done to Ryley and Isla for continuing with your expedition in school and Darcy, Mia and Isabelle for joining in with today’s home learning on length.

Come back tomorrow and let’s see if we can beat today’s record of 9 children and share a few more observations.

Happy birthday Captain Tom!

Thank you to everyone who sent in a card for Captain Tom! We have sent this video to his daughter and can’t wait for him to see it! We hope you enjoy it and remember to get involved in our Amarillo video which will be shared tomorrow!

How quickly can you do things?

How quickly can you do things? When you move does your body change or stay the same? Use a timer or stop watch and have your own competition. Can you beat your score?

Think of a new story for the hungry caterpillar. Could he be a tired caterpillar who likes hot chocolate and sleepy food? Could he be a crunching caterpillar who likes crunchy food like carrots?
