Firstly a shout out to Mia for reading 100 words today.
Lots of you have tried different fruit. Well done.
Here are some photos of your fruit kebabs.
Well done Mason! That is amazing learning! You are getting ready for Foundation Stage 2 in September. You have been making words in your phonics and a superb caterpillar from bricks!

Shay and Isabelle have made The Very Hungry Caterpillar from fruit! Yummy!

Ruben painted plates and assembled them together to make The Very Hungry Caterpillar! Well done!
Today our learning is based around food. Can you describe an apple? What adjectives would you use to describe it? Label the picture with your adjectives. Try a new food. Perhaps you could try a new fruit. What did it taste, smell and feel like?

We are going to try a Zoom session with F2P this Wednesday at 10.30 so that the children can see their friends. If it is successful then we will trial with the other classes in Foundation Stage.
F2P parents will be sent the Meeting ID and password for the session via text and Evidence Me.
Follow the link or type zoom.us into the search bar.
Click on Join a meeting (on the computer it is at the top of the screen).
Enter the meeting ID that you were sent.
Click join.
Enter the password that you were sent.
Click ok.
Then click join with video and call using internet audio.
You will then be in the “waiting room” until the session starts.
To leave the meeting, just click meeting.
I will mute the children at the start of the session and unmute to speak so that they aren’t talking over each other. We have 30 minutes so everyone gets a chance to speak.
I am really looking forward to seeing everybody.
The challenge for the end of last week was to make a sock puppet. These are some of the sock puppets made.
It has been lovely to chat to lots of families today.
Alec and Seb have made captain Tom two fantastic cards! I’ll be making them into a video for him on Wednesday. Please send your creations with your selfies to [email protected] to be included in the video!
This is Shay’s work sorting the food from the story of The Very Hungry Caterpillar into healthy and unhealthy groups.
