Today we will be learning about the characters in the story of Goldilocks and the three bears. Can you remember who the characters are? Draw your characters then think of words to describe them and label your pictures. Use your imagination to create your characters. You could draw them, paint them, make models or puppets. I can’t wait to see what you have created so share your pictures on Evidence Me.

Week 5
Here’s an overview for this week’s phonics sessions (see linked documents). This week we will be recapping digraphs: qu, ch, sh, th, and ng and reading and writing phase 2, 3 and 4 tricky words. You may use the flashcards you have made or use these links each day:
phase 2 graphemes
We are going to have a reading competition in school and for those children learning at home.
Children are to read a book with an adult. That could be the child reading to the adult or the adult reading to the child. Each time your child is reading send us a photo or for the children in school write in their yellow reading diary (F2). We will record the number of times and then the raffle tickets will be placed into a prize draw to win some Dunkin donuts. We will deliver them if your child is learning at home.
Friday’s maths
This is an assessment lesson ready for next week. Please complete the entry ticket. Make sure your child answers the questions on their own. You can say what they need to do or say.
If you are unable to print the sheet then please send us your child’s answers.
Thank you
Friday 29th Jan

We have enjoyed making our sound story of Goldilocks and the three bears this morning. We have found loud sounds for big, father bear, medium sounds for middle-sized mother bear and quiet sounds for tiny, little baby bear. Here’s our sound story so far. We can’t wait to hear yours so make sure you share them on Evidence Me.
