Identifying features of a text!

6B were superstars as always yesterday. Our final write for our English cycle will be a non-chronological report. We kick started the cycle looking at a model and identifying what features are included in a non-chronological report to help us when writing our own.

Sharing stories together in year 5 and 6

Today, in time to read Tuesday, crew Schofield were welcomed by crew Blackham where we shared stories together. It was great to see the pairs and small groups listening attentively and sharing the reading so well.

KS2 – Learn to Ride a Bike: Survey (Parents please complete)

We have Bikeability, Cycle North and Olympic Cyclist Ed Clancy visiting on Tuesday 15th October.

They are going to work with non-rider children in KS2 (Years 3,4,5,6)

Please complete the survey by the end of Tuesday 8th October, so we know which children can and can’t ride a bike.

Leading our own learning in 6B

These superstars led their own learning in our pre-teach of short division this morning. I am so proud of these mathematicians! A perfect example of 4 in the ‘get smart’ strand of their HoWLs.
