In expedition we have been looking at what clothes we would wear in the Autumn when it is getting colder and what clothes we would wear on a hot summers day. The children did really well at helping me to sort the items of clothing into two hoops.

Following A Trail

Today in expedition we followed a trail of clues to help us find a model of what our final product is going to be. We discussed our guiding questioned we had unveiled and learnt what Autumn means. We are very excited to extend our learning around this over the coming weeks.

Pride Of Plover

Well done to Paizlee and Hana that got our yellow T-shirt today. Both girls are such pleasures to have in our crew and have settled really well into nursery.
Paizlee has done some amazing writing independently this week, very eager to learn and is so kind to her peers.

Hana has been speaking a lot more to her friends, doing good sharing and coming into school nice and smiley.

Colour Mixing

Today we have been exploring what happens when you mix two colours together. We used the primary colours to paint our hands and then rubbed our hands together, to see what colour they create together.

Puddle Jumping

Thank you to all parents who have brought in wellies and waterproofs so far. We have enjoyed the rainy day this afternoon jumping in puddles. If your child does not have wellies and waterproofs in school please bring these in this week as the weather looks like it is turning and we will still be going out.

Edie has been an absolute star; always following rules and routines, being kind to her friends and trying her best in everything she does.

Jack is such a polite young man, always using his manners and following our class norms. Jack has also been super brave having his jabs this week and has not let it stop him coming to school.
