Today we used glow sticks to do a range of large and small movements, pretending to be fireworks. We practised going slow, fast, high and low.

This afternoon we have been exploring glitter, pipe cleaners and glow sticks to create our own fireworks. The children showed great control and manipulation to wrap the pipe cleaners round the glow sticks and used their fingers to make firework patterns in the glitter.

We have been artists this week and created our own fireworks. We used toilet roll tubes, paint and glitter to create the magical explosion affect.

Joud has blown us away with his phonics today! He has joined in with all our graphemes and even told some of his friends what they are. It’s great to see you becoming much more confident Joud, we are so proud.

Niana and Olly were our Pride Of Plover winners before half term. Niana always has an amazing attitude to learning and is kind to her peers. Olly has begun to settle into school life and join in with some activities.
I wonder who will get our yellow T-shirt this week…keep working super duper hard F1!

This afternoons children have loved trying out our new soft play equipment after forest schools! We have seen some excellent climbing, balancing, team work and perseverance. Please ensure on a Tuesday your child comes to school in shoes/socks they can easily take on/off themselves ready for our future soft play sessions.

Wow what an amazing day we have had doing Forest Schools today, we didn’t let the rain stop us! The children have loved learning about campfires, toasting marshmallows and making Autumnal pictures.

F1 have really enjoyed their Halloween party today, dressing up as witches and wizards. We have done some pumpkin/spider play dough, pumpkin carving, used our fine motor to find Halloween objects with tweezers and had some tasty party treats. I hope you enjoy the rest of your spooky celebrations this week!
