From Thursday 10th November until Wednesday 16th November, Travelling Book Fairs will be at Plover School! This is a superb opportunity to check out lots of the latest books, as well as a chance to buy some of the ever popular stationery items! The book fair will be open from 3pm each day and entrance to the book fair is through the main office. Please see your child’s teacher, or Miss Topliss at the Y6 door, with any queries. We look forward to seeing you there! #LovePlover
We have been looking at building adjectives today. Daisy very kindly volunteered to be our adjective model! The vocabulary that the children then created was amazing! I can’t wait to see how the children use these in their writing.

A big shout out to Charlotte who has produced this beautiful Autumn poem for the Autumn handwriting competition. It is an amazing piece of work. Fingers crossed for you Charlotte!

2LP have constructed castles from different materials and explored their properties to see which would be the most suitable. We decided that the material had to be strong and waterproof and couldn’t be transparent or squashable. Some great examples of collaborative learning were also taking place!

2LP have done awesome work as Scientists. They have started to think about the properties of different materials and used different criteria to sort them. We will now explore whether materials are bendy, stretchy or squashable!
Hi KS1 Crew
This is all the uniform we have in KS1 without names. We have sorted them into age groups and they will be out on the playground tomorrow morning.
Please take them as they have no name, so they’re yours to claim!
Thanks
This week our amazing learning coaches, Mrs Carter, Mrs Jobber and Mrs Enderby have been working with the KS1 children to develop brain breaks and sensory sessions.
A selection of children have been having fun, learning crew skills and helping to regulate through hands-on activities.
Just a quick reminder can all KS1 children bring their book bags today. They will get their new phonics QR code book, reading for pleasure book and prizes for reading at home.
Thanks
KS1 Crew
