As everybody will be aware flooding has affected different parts of the country over the last few days. Sadly, communities close to our school have and continue to be affected. Many families now find themselves away from their homes with minimal belongings and this includes a family that attends Plover.
We would like to help our neighbouring communities as best we can and are asking for donations of bedding, blankets, children’s clothing, toiletries, non perishable foods such as tins and cereals, bottled water and anything else you think may be of use.
You can bring items to school anytime this week, donations will be stored in the small hall and we will arrange to deliver goods at regional drop off points around the Doncaster area.
