Wednesday

What a great day again! Shout outs today go to Anez, Nik, Shyaw, Kian and Lauma from 3L and Zeynep, Pranav and Esther from 3P. It’s great to hear from you!

Well done to Anez and Kian for continuing with Read Theory and Lauma and Liam for keeping up with TTRockstars. Well done!

Did any of you do an obstacle course in your garden? It’s been the perfect weather for it!

I hope you enjoy the rest of your afternoon, see you in the morning!

Good Morning

Morning everyone!

I hope you are all ok, make sure you log on and let me know how you are. What Easter activities are you going to choose from the Google Classroom today? Remember, you can log on to Epic, TTRockstars, Read Theory or Rodocodo whenever you want to.

Maybe you could do a Maths hunt around your house today or plan and build an obstacle course in your garden. Let me know how you get on!

End of the Day

It’s been great to hear from some children I’ve not heard from in a few days. Shout outs today go to Anez, Liam, Kian, Pranav, Sumika and Lauma.

Mrs Graves has put a link to the DfE website which has lots of activities that covers the main subjects including PE. Why not have a look with your adults on the Parent Help Centre section on the school website and see what things you can have a go at.

Enjoy your evening! See you in the morning!

Stay safe and take care!

Good Morning!

Morning 3L!

I hope you are all ok and had a good evening.

Make sure you log on and let me know how you are today. I’m feeling excited because I’m looking forward to starting our new expedition on Monday. What about you?

Amazing job!

Shout outs go today to those children in Year 3 who logged on. Well done Shyaw, Zeynep and Esther.

Well done 3L!! You’ve reached over 40,000 Knowledge Points on Read Theory! I am so proud of you all! You achieved the challenge I set you so I definitely owe you cake once we can all go back to school.  I wonder, can we make 50,000 Knowledge points?

Another well done to our weekly TTRockstar winners, your certificates are waiting for you on our Google Classroom.

Enjoy your evening, see you in the morning!

Take care!

Easter Monday

Happy Easter everyone!

I hope you had a lovely Easter yesterday and had lots of Easter eggs to enjoy.  I ate far too many!

I hope you enjoyed the weekend with your families and enjoyed the sunshine, I spent a lot of the weekend gardening but there’s still a lot to do.

Please don’t forget to log on to our Google Classroom and let me know how you are, I’d love to know about the eggs you got or the things you’ve been up to.  I’m not sure if Joe Wicks is doing his work out today but if he’s not I’m going to re-do one of his previous workouts. Maybe you could too!

I’m really missing you all, keep safe and remember to keep washing your hands!

Happy Easter.

Well that’s it for this week. Thank you to those of you that checked in today – lots of you are clearly taking a bit of a break! If you can find 2 minutes every day to check in your feelings, that would be great and really helpful (even if that is all you are doing for now).

For those of you that are celebrating Easter, have a great weekend and I hope the Easter bunny might still manage to find a safe way of getting some eggs to you during the lockdown. Try not to eat too much chocolate!

It looks like it might be lovely weather tomorrow in particular – remember that sun cream will be needed if you are enjoying the sun in the garden. Sunburn isn’t locked down!

Enjoy your weekend.

Pride of Plover

This week’s Pride of Plover goes to…………..Phoebe Allen!

Well done Phoebe! You’ve been working so hard completing tasks from our Google Classroom over the last few weeks. You’ve challenged yourself, persevered and given your learning 100% effort. I’m really proud of you, keep it up!

Congratulations Phoebe!

Good morning!

Welcome back Year 3 to the final day of this week and the start of the Easter weekend. Today is Good Friday so this would be a perfect day to do the ‘Holy Week’ challenge that has been set as part of the ‘Easter Challenges’ in Google Classroom. I am looking after Year 3 in the classroom today so direct your questions to me if you need any help.

As I said yesterday, maybe you could send in photos or videos of what you have been making and doing in the build up to Easter.

Remember to at least complete the feelings check-in so that I know how you are doing and I’ll be available throughout the hours of a normal school day to help you out. Also remember to check back here at 9.30am to find out the winner of this week’s Pride of Plover.

Who are you isolating for?

Thank you so much to all children, parents, carers and staff for getting involved in this weeks video. The Olly Murs video will be shared next Friday– so you still have time to get involved and send your videos to [email protected]

Check us out on facebook ‘Plover primary school’ and give us a share!
