Where has the sun gone?

Morning 5K. I have just been out to get rid of the last bit of recycling and it is cold outside at the moment. I hope the sun does manage to come out later on as I did want to do some gardening. Have you seen the rainbow we made at school? We used our collage techniques that we learnt for the calendars. Remember I expect you back online next week as the holidays are over then – Mrs K.

Let’s send Tom a birthday card!

I am sure lots of you have seen this amazing gentleman raising millions of pounds for our NHS. We would love to send him some birthday cards for his 100th birthday on the 30th April. If you would like to make Tom a card, please share them with your teachers or with me [email protected] by next Thursday- this could be a simple ‘happy birthday Tom’ poster which you are holding and your parents take a photo of and email in. We will then create a special booklet of your photos to send him! Let’s make this heroes day by sending him as many special Plover birthday wishes as possible!

Get ready…..

Good morning 5K. I hope you have enjoyed the holiday but be aware the holidays will soon end and I will be wanting you to get back to work for me. I know I am mardy, mean and demanding but when we eventually return Year 6 will not be too far away for you all. The more work you do now means you will have less gaps in your knowledge and so Year 6 will be easier for you.

I want to do a shout for Marsels, Oliver H, Marley, Lacey and Lacie B as these children have been logging on quite regularly over the hols. I have seen Lacie B’s fantastic art work that she did of Henry VIII using pastels in school as well as seeing Marley working hard in school too. When I see you both again girls I will show you how to do the paper tissue flowers I did yesterday.

Good morning 5/6

Good morning 5/6- well done to those of you who are still checking in, emailing in etc so we know you are safe and well! Dominik and his little sister have been playing games, Bethannie and Lacie have made their own pizzas and had a picnic in the garden (mum tricked them with a jam sponge-see the picture!) and Liam and Luke have been painting in the garden. It all looks like so much fun! All of the above children have reached 50 points! So a huge well done to you all- there is still time to join in! Email your teachers what you have been up to!

Good morning Intake!

It looks like it’s going to be another sunny day! Make sure you have sun cream on when you are out in your garden enjoying your exercise. I am in at school with the  key workers children so we are being kept busy. Enjoy your day – Mrs K.

Morning everyone!

Good morning everyone, I hope you are enjoying your Easter break. Please remember to still check in with us in a morning, I love to hear from you and to find out what you’ve been up to. Thank you to all those who have sent pictures in of their Easter challenges! Bethannie and Lacie have been making Easter crafts, whilst Luke and Liam have been playing with lightsabers with Dad! I’ve also got a lovely origami video from Ruby later to share with you all!
Keep emailing and keep safe, missing you all!

Tuesday 9th March 1536

Dear Henry,

I am writing this letter to explain to you exactly how I am feeling this is something that has been on my mind especially more recently in the busier period. I hope that by writing this letter you understand how lonely I am the dungeon is very self isolating from the outside world, which is one of the reasons I am starting to feel forgotten about which makes me sad.

As a dungeon master I feel I have fulfilled my role greatly by following your instructions and even giving the unimaginable punishments I thought you would want

  • Dunking people into cold rivers and lakes
  • Stretching people on racks

To name a few

Not once have I ever been praised or thanked for my service to you I am not wanting a knighthood just a thank you goes a long way to show I am appreciated. Which may I remind you is why I am writing this letter.

Have you ever been down in to the dungeons? My guess is you probably have but you may  seem that, that is fine for those committing a crime.

  • Stealing
  • Being drunk
  • Adultery

But I have done none of those . It is awful, dark and eerie but I have no choice since my mother died to get the best for me as she left that role for you otherwise my life would be very different and both you and I know that.

Please take the time and come and see the conditions I work in, I assure you, you will be flabbergasted

Your torturing friend,

Derek  [Lacie B]
