The number I am thinking of is one more than 32, what is my number? 33

Now write one more and one less than the numbers you have made.

E.g. I can make the number 57 from the cards, if I look at the 100 square I can see 56 is one less than and 58 is one more than.

75, one less is 74 and one more is 76.

79, one less is 78 and one more is 80

76, one less is 75 and one more 77

Wednesday 10th June

Good morning Key Stage One. Today we are going to be learning how to plan for writing. If you need to recap the story, please follow the link. If you have problems accessing your account, email [email protected]

We are writing a letter to Adika to find out about life in Kenya and to tell him about our life in the UK.

You will plan your ideas today and use the plan to help you write your letter on Thursday.

Have a look at the example letter first. Then have a look at how to plan your writing afterwards.

Dear Adika,

I am Miss Topliss and I am 6 years old. I live in a house and my bedroom is green. I walk to school in a morning with my mummy. My favourite lesson is Maths. After school I like to dance.

What is your bedroom like? I would like to know if you have any pets. What do you like to play at playtime when you go to school? Do you do any clubs after school?

Write back soon

Love from Miss Topliss xxx

Now have a go at writing your plan

Here is an example plan
