Good Morning

Morning everyone!

I hope you are all ok, make sure you log on and let me know how you are. What Easter activities are you going to choose from the Google Classroom today? Remember, you can log on to Epic, TTRockstars, Read Theory or Rodocodo whenever you want to.

Maybe you could do a Maths hunt around your house today or plan and build an obstacle course in your garden. Let me know how you get on!

End of the Day

It’s been great to hear from some children I’ve not heard from in a few days. Shout outs today go to Anez, Liam, Kian, Pranav, Sumika and Lauma.

Mrs Graves has put a link to the DfE website which has lots of activities that covers the main subjects including PE. Why not have a look with your adults on the Parent Help Centre section on the school website and see what things you can have a go at.

Enjoy your evening! See you in the morning!

Stay safe and take care!

All done.

Well, the long weekend for Easter has now officially ended and there has definitely been more chocolate in my tummy than there should have been! I hope you haven’t eaten too much chocolate by now. Maybe you could be like Charlie Bucket and see how long you can make all of your chocolate last for! Make sure you are being nice and active to keep those muscles warm and strong.

I am supporting in school again today so I will check in when I can. Mrs Lewis will be overseeing the classroom again today. Please check in and say hi.

Have a good day and keep yourselves safe.

Amazing job!

Shout outs go today to those children in Year 3 who logged on. Well done Shyaw, Zeynep and Esther.

Well done 3L!! You’ve reached over 40,000 Knowledge Points on Read Theory! I am so proud of you all! You achieved the challenge I set you so I definitely owe you cake once we can all go back to school.  I wonder, can we make 50,000 Knowledge points?

Another well done to our weekly TTRockstar winners, your certificates are waiting for you on our Google Classroom.

Enjoy your evening, see you in the morning!

Take care!

Welcome back.

It’s the start of a brand new week and some of you may now have more chocolate than some of the local shops! Remember to keep active if you plan on eating too much chocolate.

The Easter challenges continue for the rest of this week. How have you done with them so far? Are you close to completing the challenge that has been set? There is one more week left to finish it.

Please make sure that you sign into the classroom and complete the feelings check-in. Mrs Lewis will be watching over the online classroom again today as I am in school supporting pupils who have parents that are key workers. Ask her any questions that you may have.

Have a great day.

Happy Easter.

Well that’s it for this week. Thank you to those of you that checked in today – lots of you are clearly taking a bit of a break! If you can find 2 minutes every day to check in your feelings, that would be great and really helpful (even if that is all you are doing for now).

For those of you that are celebrating Easter, have a great weekend and I hope the Easter bunny might still manage to find a safe way of getting some eggs to you during the lockdown. Try not to eat too much chocolate!

It looks like it might be lovely weather tomorrow in particular – remember that sun cream will be needed if you are enjoying the sun in the garden. Sunburn isn’t locked down!

Enjoy your weekend.

Pride of Plover winner.

The moment you’ve all been waiting for!

This week’s Pride of Plover winner is: Zeynep O!

She has worked so hard and barely missed a day out of the classroom. Tremendous effort – well done!

Good morning!

Welcome back Year 3 to the final day of this week and the start of the Easter weekend. Today is Good Friday so this would be a perfect day to do the ‘Holy Week’ challenge that has been set as part of the ‘Easter Challenges’ in Google Classroom. I am looking after Year 3 in the classroom today so direct your questions to me if you need any help.

As I said yesterday, maybe you could send in photos or videos of what you have been making and doing in the build up to Easter.

Remember to at least complete the feelings check-in so that I know how you are doing and I’ll be available throughout the hours of a normal school day to help you out. Also remember to check back here at 9.30am to find out the winner of this week’s Pride of Plover.

Who are you isolating for?

Thank you so much to all children, parents, carers and staff for getting involved in this weeks video. The Olly Murs video will be shared next Friday– so you still have time to get involved and send your videos to [email protected]

Check us out on facebook ‘Plover primary school’ and give us a share!

Where did the day go?

Well that’s another day that seems to have whizzed by. Thank you to those that have joined me today in Year 3.

Check my blog tomorrow morning at 9.30am sharp to find out who has won this week’s Pride of Plover award. It is Good Friday tomorrow so the start of the Easter weekend. Are you doing anything special in your house? Maybe you could share pictures of any crafts you may have done based on Easter?

Have a great evening and stay safe.
