On Monday they receive 10 more. 26 + 10 = 36

On Thursday they receive ten more. 56 + 10 = 66

And on Friday they receive ten more. 66 + 10 = 76

How many crayons do 2L now have?  76

Extra challenge

Miss Lotysz had 74p to spend at the shop. She buys a biscuit for 30p and a can of pop for 20p. How much does she have left? 24p

 

Miss Topliss has 56p to spend at the shop. She buys an apple for 10p and a bar of chocolate for 20p. How much does she have left? 26p

 

Miss Lister has 58p to spend at the shop. Her mum gives her 30p She buys an orange for 50p. How much does she have left? 38p

Here are a few questions for you to have a go at yourself.

10 + 90 = 100

50 + 50 = 100

60 + 40 = 100

80 + 20 = 100

100 = 70 + 30

100 = 0 + 100

Here are a few questions for you to have a go at yourself. 

Fill in the missing numbers, e.g. 7 + 3 = 10, 70 + 30 = 100.

6 + 2 = 8       60 + 20 = 80    2 + 6 = 8       20 + 60 = 80

Find all of the possibilities, one has been done for you. 

An apple is 20p and a can is 60p. 20p + 60p = 80p.
