Knocked out on penalties in the quarter finals, to the eventual winners. But we showed great resilience to win the penalty shootout after to finish a creditable 5th out of 12 teams at this afternoons football competition. #LovePlover

Our spelling bee prizes have arrived!
Do you want the chance to win a Stanley cup, a Stitch dressing gown, two £20 love to shop vouchers or two sweet hampers? Well these are just some of our fantastic prizes for our first ever spelling bee!
Our spelling bee will take place on the 13th October so keep practicing Year 5 & 6 and let’s see who our winners are- I can not wait!

Making Craft Faces
It’s (not)our birthday but we are going to eat a cake!
We are Family!
In ‘We Care Crew’, we talked about our families. We then drew all the people and pets who live in our house. We then used sticks to make the square for our house and the triangle for our roof. Our crew display board is filling up fast! We noticed that all our pictures weren’t the same and that our families may be different but we are all loved. #love plover #wearecrew
Cake Completed
Let’s bake a cake!
Today we worked collaboratively to bake cupcakes. We used our gross motor skills to mix the mixture. We spoke about how the cake mixture changed as we added different ingredients, and how it looked different before putting it in the oven, to when we took it out. We’re very excited to decorate and eat our cupcakes tomorrow!

Pride of Plover
It was brilliant to see the first winners of our Pride of Plover in KS1. We heard about children showing resilience, determination, hard work and above all, respect. It was lovely to hear how the children have made a positive impression on the adults in KS1 with the effort that they have put into their learning. Well done, everyone!
