Thank you to Mr Bubb, who kindly invited Plover to the official launch of the Booker Prize photography exhibit. This was a wonderful event, opened by Ed Milliband. If you are in the Frenchgate Centre, you can find the photographs by the entrance to the bus stateroom, as well as upstairs near the food court. Well done to all children who were selected to have their photograph taken based on their entry! #LovePlover

Just a reminder that Year 5’s Harry Potter dress up day is Friday 3rd September. Costumes can be as creative as you like. If you are struggling for ideas, black/grey trousers and a white shirt would be great and we will make Hogwarts ties in school. Or you can come in house colours: red, yellow, green or blue. Please don’t worry if you don’t have anything, we will dedicate the first part of the morning to making props so all children are included.
