Thank you to Kixx for a fun session during Plover Praise Time this afternoon. Thank you to Mrs Pass, who acted as chief photographer! #LovePlover
We had such a fun time this afternoon participating in activities outside our school! Check out the photos below #LovePlover
Ahead of World Book Day, which is held on Thursday 3rd March, we would like to invite all children to make a book character from a toilet roll tube (or something of an equivalent size that you have at home). You can bring them into your class on World Book Day and one child from each phase will win a special prize! Below are some photos that might give you some inspiration but please let your imaginations run wild! We can’t wait to see your creations! #LovePlover
As Scientists we have been comparing the life cycles of different types of animals and used this as an opportunity to produce extended writing. We have been writing reports about the similarities and differences of mammals, reptiles, birds and amphibians.
A shout out goes to Summah and Nishka for their beautiful writing.

Today, 5T have begun their new English cycle with some speaking and listening linked to their new anchor text, ‘Can we Save the Tiger?’ We have prepared short speeches from the text and presented them to our peers. Using the critique we were given, we have written some points to remember for next time. Our next time will be when we have written our own speeches about protecting endangered animals! #LovePlover
5K have been preparing a speech to read aloud in class. Their peers then gave them critique on their strengths and how to improve.

Here are Year 5 and 6 representatives looking out for good parking and parking that could have been improved upon! I wonder if you got a ticket if you were parked around Intake today. I know I did! Well done to all Y5 and Y6 today, the officers and representatives from the council commented to Mrs Ogle on your excellent behaviour. #LovePlover
Year 5 and 6 had a brilliant day today with officers from Doncaster Council and the police learning about anti-social behaviour and road safety. I think our class particular enjoyed exploring the ‘Riot Van’ the most. #LovePlover
The Police were kind enough to allow us to sit in their van today! We had great fun exploring, pressing the sirens and sitting in the driver’s seat! This afternoon, we have designed parking tickets 🎫 and representatives from Y5/6 have spent this afternoon praising good parking or advising people of safer places to park #LovePlover
