I will be emailing Captain Tom’s daughter his birthday video from Plover featuring all of your cards and messages. If you want to be included please email your photos to [email protected]
I am loving Angel’s birthday card for him! Well done superstar!
Just thought I would let you all know that there is an informal competition going on. When the ladies are in the office, they are seeing how many children check in as we log your names on a form for them. Last week year 5/6 won and all the Year 5/6 teachers [Miss Blackham, Mrs Haycock , Mrs Coward, Miss Brogan and myself were cheering.]
So please, please.please lets have another week of Crew 5/6 being winners! Remind your friends to check in so we know you are all coping being at home so much. If you talk to a friend online please tell them to fill in their feeling chart for us [also a bit of work would be lovely too].
Good morning 6H,
I hope you’re all okay – as always.
Well done and thank you to those of you who have been continuing to submit your learning in whatever way suits you best.
More shout outs for Dominik and Cailey – your rounding videos that you sent were fabulous and it was so good to see your faces and hear your voices.
Please remember to check in as the number of you who have been doing this seems to have dropped this week.
Take care and hope to see you all soon
Mrs H 🙂
Good morning Year 5 – I hope everyone is well and keeping busy [by doing the work set]. At our house I was planning on washing today however that won’t be happening! Maybe I need to go back to painting the bedroom or cleaning out another cupboard! Keep busy, complete the work and stay safe.
Well done years 5/6 for your awesome commitment to learning from home we are so proud of you! Shout out to Ruby for creating a fantastic revision guide for future year 6’s on rounding and creating some fabulous expedition work! A further shout out to Leon and Liam W for awesome expedition work! I love receiving your photos of what you have been up to!
Please remember the deadline for the Amarillo marches is this Thursday at 4pm- we really want to see as many of you involved as possible!
Also, this Friday we are inviting years 5&6 children to join us at 10 o clock for a class ‘google hangout’ where we will be celebrating Pyjamarama day together! Keep a look out on your school emails for an invitation! It would be so nice to see you all joining in (and a great opportunity for you to check in and chat to your classmates) spread the word!
Alec and Seb have made captain Tom two fantastic cards! I’ll be making them into a video for him on Wednesday. Please send your creations with your selfies to [email protected] to be included in the video!
Sven and Buzz wanted to say to you all to stay safe! They loved posing next to my mum’s rainbow she had drawn (my mum is my neighbour) on our daily walk over the weekend.
Good morning 6H
I hope you all had a great weekend – I know I did. I baked a treacle sponge pudding with my own bare hands and didn’t burn the house down – nor did I give anyone food poisoning! A miracle – I know!
Everything that you need for the week should be waiting for you in our Google classroom.
We are aware that many of you are having difficulties with frog learning – so are we as teachers. We are trying to get this fixed so please bare with us.
Well done and thank you to all of you who got involved with the toilet roll video. I hope to see you marching your way to Amarillo with Tony Christie and Peter Kay this week – please submit your video to Miss Blackham (or to me and I will forward it on for you) by Thursday at 4pm.
I look forward to reading your writing later today – I loved writing the next section of the story ‘Who Let the Gods Out? – where do you think Mum has gone?
Have a great day.
Mrs H 🙂
How awesome are these drawings by CJ and his great grandad? I love them- he certainly is very talented!
