Good morning 5/6

This week we will be setting you mini activities to complete in perpetration of VE Day this Friday! Today, we would like you to undertake some research and create a fancy poster to stick in your windows. Please send them in to your teachers! We will share ours with you too!
Thank you to everyone who shared their PJ pics, you have until the end of the day to send them in (winner announced tomorrow) and please have a read of next weeks video requests. We love to see you getting involved. Enjoy your day, we miss you all!

Rainbow Tree of Thanks

Our children in school have been so busy creating a beautiful tree of thanks to the Key Workers of the NHS.

I’m sure you will agree it is a lovely way to say Thank You and is now in our school entrance.

Our reading google hangout!

Thank you to everyone in 6B who joined for our google hangout! I miss you all so much and it was so nice to see you and chat to you all! I selected my Harry Potter picture book to read and I can’t wait to read more to you over the next few weeks! Join me again on Tuesday at 10am for the next chapter! And yes 6B, as you can see from my photo, Sven joined us (Buzz doesn’t sit as nicely as Sven but he made a quick appearance) so please make sure you accept my invitation as we can’t wait to see you again!

We did it – story time went live!

We have just finished our google hang out for story time! it was lovely to see Jenson, Ruby and Dylan, Lacie, Bethannie and Marley. There were a few technical issues with Marley however we could all see each other. and hear each other. Well done

Oldish teacher new trick!

Today I will attempt something totally new …….. a google hangout with 5K ! I will be reading a book as part of pj day. Don’t worry though as my hair is fluffed so I don’t scare any small children. Hope to see you soon just click on the link on the invite

Pride of Plover Winner

The time has arrived again to find out who this week’s yellow t-shirt winner will be…

If you’re a boy it could be you.

If you have a younger sister – it could be you.

If you were not overly happy that you were in my class at the start of this school year, it could be you.

If you are called Adam – it IS you!

Well done on a fabulous week young man – your work is always completed to a great standard and I love marking it.

Keep up the hard work.

Mrs H 🙂

This weeks yellow T-shirt winner is…

Lucas! I am so very proud of you and the effort you are putting into your learning at home. The standard is very impressive and I really enjoy reading your expedition work! You have been fabulous in school this week and your Captain Tom card was beautiful! Thank you for being ace! Miss you! Your certificate will be posted today!

Pyjamarama Day!

It’s here at last!

What will you be up to today in your pj’s?  I’m in school and cannot wait for as many of you as possible to join me at 10am for the sharing of a great story.

Oliver caused mayhem in our bathroom as he emptied the washbasket and decided to climb into it for a good read of Harry Potter.

What is the most bizarre location you can think of to read in?

Send in your photos of pj madness.

Tune in later to find out who will get this week’s Pride of Plover Award.

Have a great day.

Mrs H 🙂

It’s Pyjamarama day!!

The ‘coolest place to read’ competition is well underway! I’ve had lots of photos sent to me- you can be as creative as you like! I love Ruby’s contributions! Please remember to send your teachers other photos of yourselves in your PJs! You can be doing ANYTHING from watching a film, eating your dinner, reading a book (as long as your in your PJs!) and I’ll be making it into a little video next week!

PS, 5&6 classes, your teachers will be reading you a story on google hangout at 10am (those of you with siblings in 5&6, just pick one class to join to make it easier for you at home) you should have had an invite from your teachers. To enter the hangout at 10, click your invitation and click ‘join hangout’ and we’ll see you there! Any problems, pop us an email! We can’t wait to see you all!
