Our school challenge next week is to recreate a famous portrait. Use your imagination and get creative. Involve your family members if you want, but pick your picture, strike a pose and get snapping!
I chose a portrait by Holbein (a Tudor Artist) to copy, but you can choose any artist and style.
Have a look at the website for some brilliant examples!
Email a copy of the original portrait and your new version to me: [email protected] or to Miss Blackham: [email protected] by Thursday 28th May

Pride of Plover

Congratulations AJ Watson for winning the virtual Pride of Plover! You continue to show the learning behaviors you displayed in class – a commitment to learning and being the best you can be. Well done.

Marvellous maths and excellent expedition work!

Good morning you lovely lot! I’ve been blown away by the awesome work you have been completing and I hope you keep it up! Ruby Charlie, Romio and Lucas have completed some marvellous maths work on algebra and Charlie has researched Greek food in expedition and created a tasty Greek dish! I’m really impressed!
Please keep sending your work in and remember to get your rainbow pictures to me today 🙂

Is the sun coming back out?

I don’t suppose any of you are up yet but I get up normally at 6.30 to see to my cats even if it is the weekend. There is no sun and it looks very overcast! I hope it does reappear later in the day as yesterday was lovely when I went for a dog walk. This is Polly relaxing because of the heat yesterday.

Remember to send your rainbows/NHS posters

Here is a gorgeous example modelled by the lovely Ashton of the rainbow/thank a key worker poster for this weeks video. Please remember you can also send in your videos of your families clapping at 8pm on a Thursday! You can be as creative as you like and the deadline is now Friday 9am to give you time to get everything in. Please email to [email protected]

Wednesday 20th May

Morning all,

I hope you are all well on this beautiful morning.

Please check out Miss Blackham’s blog for information about this week’s Feel Good Friday video.  All photos to be emailed to her or me by 4pm tomorrow, please.

Have you had a go at identifying the photographs of staff when we were little?  We were young once, you know!

I’m really pleased with some of the Maths you guys have sent me so far this week.  Keep going.  Algebra is so much fun once you get the hang of it.

Have a great day guys.

Mrs H 🙂

More fabulous work!

Just look at this fabulous expedition and maths work from Charlie! Also a shout out to Laura, Romio, Lucas, Ruby, Ajay and Susie for awesome work yesterday! Well done to Annabelle and Kyri for producing awesome work at home too! Please keep it up! Remember to send me your rainbows!
