It’s Pyjamarama day!!

The ‘coolest place to read’ competition is well underway! I’ve had lots of photos sent to me- you can be as creative as you like! I love Ruby’s contributions! Please remember to send your teachers other photos of yourselves in your PJs! You can be doing ANYTHING from watching a film, eating your dinner, reading a book (as long as your in your PJs!) and I’ll be making it into a little video next week!

PS, 5&6 classes, your teachers will be reading you a story on google hangout at 10am (those of you with siblings in 5&6, just pick one class to join to make it easier for you at home) you should have had an invite from your teachers. To enter the hangout at 10, click your invitation and click ‘join hangout’ and we’ll see you there! Any problems, pop us an email! We can’t wait to see you all!

Happy birthday Captain Tom!

Thank you to everyone who sent in a card for Captain Tom! We have sent this video to his daughter and can’t wait for him to see it! We hope you enjoy it and remember to get involved in our Amarillo video which will be shared tomorrow!

Reminder to check in

Please remember to check in on the sheet in our Google Classroom – or email me a feeling  daily (like Grace does).

I’m reminding you to do this because many of you are emailing me work but not checking in and this makes it really confusing when I double check that I have submitted the correct info to Mrs Ogle about who is working online.  It only takes a few seconds – if I can manage it, anyone can.

Thank you to those of you who do do this daily or contact me/school in some other way on a daiy basis – please continue.

Thanks so much.

Mrs H 🙂

Pyjamarama day – take two

Tomorrow is pyjamarama day – it really is this time!

If you’re in school – wear your pjs – I will be!

If you’re at home, send us photos of you doing anything random (which shouldn’t be too difficult, let’s face it) in your pjs.  You could be reading somewhere weird or working in a spot where we would never think to look for you.

We will be having a competition to see who can read in the strangest of places – who will read where I wonder…

I can wait to see your entries – we already have yours, Cailey – thank you.

Mrs Haycock Strikes Again!

Morning all,

The sun is back – whoop whoop.

I hope you all recieved an invitation from me yesterday for a google hangout?  Thank you to those of you who have accepted it.  The only problem is I’ve invited you all today at 10 and it is supposed to be tomorrow!  I am so sorry.  I will resend invites in a moment – thank you so much to Cailey for spotting my faux pas!

The deadline for the Amarillo marching video is 4pm today – please send yours to Miss Blackham – or me and I will forward it on for you.

Finally…HAPPY BIRTHDAY CAPTAIN TOM! What a man!

Mrs H 🙂

Tomorrow is Pyjamarama day!

Tomorrow we need you in your PJs ALL day! We also need your selfies with you reading books, watching films, playing in the garden (anything at all) but in your pyjamas! Just like these two superstars above!
We also have a competition as to who can read a book in the funniest place at home- be as creative as you can!

Please spread the word! Years 5/6 teachers will be reading to their classes on ‘google hangout’ at 10am, so be online ready to accept your invites!

Whole Class Google Hangout 10am Friday

It’s story time!

What are you up to on Friday at 10am?

Hopefully, you’ll join me on a googlehang out so we can share a story together.

I’ve missed you all so much and cannot wait to potentially see you all on Friday.

What would you like me to read?  Running Wild?  Cosmic?  Something completely different?  Let me know.

I will send you all an invite to our google hangout later on.

Mrs H 🙂

I will be emailing Captain Tom’s daughter his birthday video from Plover featuring all of your cards and messages. If you want to be included please email your photos to [email protected]

I am loving Angel’s birthday card for him! Well done superstar!
