Shout out to these superstars for winning the yellow T-shirtās this week! Also, a shout out to William D from 5K and Cory 5PW for being the Year 5 winners! We are so proud of you and your hard work! Well done superstars!
We would love you to ask your children their classes question of the week! We know sometimes after a super busy day at school the children are sometimes too tired to tell you about everything they have done. So we hope this way will allow you to check in with your children and ask them specific questions linked to their learning to check their knowledge! Please see this weekās questions in the table above!
You are blowing me away Year 6 with your enthusiasm for our new expedition. Your efforts to immerse your learning environments are a fantastic example of being a crew! Itās fantastic to see so many smiling faces buzzing to learn about World War II. You are all little superstars! Iām so excited to reveal our classrooms on Friday once we have finished!
Year 6 are well and truly hooked into our first Expedition of the year- WWII: what is Doncasterās story?
The children are immersing their classrooms and they are all doing a fantastic job! Please check back later this week to see the big reveal of our new learning environments!
Thank you to those who are sharing their family/friendās memories and experiences of WWII. We will be adding them to our āPlover war heroesā display board and your stories may just be included in our final product at the end of this term! Please keep them coming in!
6B & 6C had lots of fun joining in with the Roald Dahl online workshop this afternoon! It was great to collaborate online with other schools in Doncaster too! Well done lovelies!
We havenāt had much of a chance to catch up as a full 5/6 phase but today we did our first virtual assembly. It was lovely to hear what fabulous things our children have been doing in class and their highlights of the week as well as celebrating successes! Well done to everyone in 5/6 this week you have all been awesome but a bigger shout out to those children who received a shout-out from their teachers for their howls this week! Well done superstars! I am very proud of you all! #Crew5/6
Last week 6B and some of 6C discussed what crew meant to them. They then wrote their chosen word/phrase on a piece of paper to brighten up our crew display. I am very impressed with their creativity!
