Wednesday 20th May

Ā

Good Morning,
Google Meet this morning at 11am – it would be great to see as many of you as possible!
Click this link or at the top of the page:

I’d really like you to have a go at the new-style Maths Meetings today. Let me know what you think in the comments.
Mrs Lewis has shared a competition with you to design a Tudor house – there have been some fantastic entries so far from Year 3 – lets see what 4G can do – I’m sure you will amaze me! You have till Friday to complete this so don’t think you have to do it all today! Send photographs to me to be in the chance for a prize!!!
English is you final Exit ticket – I would love to share your diary entries with Mrs Ogle, so really do your very best work – remember you are nearly at the end of Year 4 – your writing needs to show off those Year 4 features I have been going on about all year!
Have fun with some Maths games as light relief!
I have included the Online Safety activities I shared yesterday – if you didn’t get chance to complete it.
Have a lovely day!

Tuesday 19th May

Good Morning,

There’s something a little different for you to do today – today is Online Safety Refresher Day!

Yes with all the time you are spending online, I thought it was important to make sure that you know how to keep yourself safe. There is some information for you to read and then a game to play and a quiz to complete – but the most important thing is that you STAY SAFE ONLINE!

English continues with your planning and preparation for the final touchdown.

I was thinking about doing a Google Meet at 11am tomorrow morning – let me know what you think in the comments on Google Classroom Stream.

Enjoy your day and Stay Safe.

Mrs Graves

It’s competition time!

This week we will be having a competition to see who can build the best Tudor House. Yesterday you found out about traditional Tudor Homes and today in our Expedition lesson, we are asking you plan, build and critique your own Tudor House.

You can build it out of anything you want, the choice is yours! You can use old cardboard boxes, Lego, whatever you have available will be perfect.

There are prizes to be won so make sure you email a photo of your Tudor House to your class teacher by Friday 22nd May and Mrs Ogle will then choose a winner from each class.

Good luck everybody, we can’t wait to see what you create!

Monday 18th May

Good Morning!

I hope you had a good weekend and you are ready and fresh to start the week ahead.

We are going to be historians again this week – researching more about how the Tudors lived. Weā€™re going to be running some competitions this week – so keep an eye open for them.

English this week is out final write – so you have 3 days to complete it to a really high standard – planning it and critiquing it, before your final write.

I am going to put some materials onto google classroom to help you if you are finding lockdown hard and it is making you feel sad. No need to hand them in – they are just there to help you.

Have a lovely day,

Mrs Graves

Feel Good Friday

As always, thank you so much to everyone who gets involved- we love seeing your happy faces! 4G Pride of Plover

Friday 15th May

Good Morning – it’s a gorgeous day .

I’ve got that Friday feelingĀ  – well I’m looking forward to the Feel Good Friday video coming out later.

As it’s Friday, it must also be Pride of Plover – join me on a Google Meet at 10am to find out who our Pride of Plover is this week.

Last of the money sessions today and the focus of English is reading again – so get onto Read Theory and earn those knowledge points.

Thinking ahead, we are getting a bit crafty next week, so you might want to hang on to any cereal boxes and cardboard .

We are going to be running some Tudor competitions for our phase, so keep an eye on the blog.

Hopefully see you at 10am,

Have a lovely day, stay safe,

Mrs Graves

Thursday 14th May

Good Morning

It is a lovely day – hopefully you will get some time to enjoy it outside.

We are continuing with Tudor Tales and looking at how we can improve our work. We are also continuing with money for maths.

Silver Maths Meeting will be added later – internet problems prevented me from uploading it.

Hope you are all keeping safe. Keep sending in photos.

Wednesday 13th May

Hi guys – hope you are all well.
Thank you for continuing to hand-in your work.
I’d love to see you get involved in the Finger Spelling challenge on the blog – video yourselves and send it in to Miss Blackham – how awesome it would be to see you on the next video, showing how great we are at signing – and what a great skill you will learn for the future. I can still remember the BSL alphabet from when I was a Girl Guide!!
I have reloaded today’s feelings check-in so you can let me know how you are.
Take care.
Mrs Graves
