our children had so much fun and created some beautiful artwork.

Happy World Book Day!

Happy world book day! Did you know it’s 25 years since the first world book day? We’ve had some amazing costumes in 2B, from superheroes to villains and princesses to name a few. So many children got crafty and used their left over loo rolls to create an amazing accomplice for their costume, I’ve loved it! We had a special guests in class today – Miss Wood from FSW came to read us her favourite book! We’ve also been inspired by the book ā€˜The Diversity of life on Earth’ – it has a lovely link to our current expedition! It inspired us to get arty and we began to draw some beautiful scenes from our beautiful world.

I wonder if I’ll recognise you all tomorrow?

Crew Meade World Book Day

It is safe to say Crew Meade are fully immersed in world book day and they all look absolutely amazing!

Fraction Museums

We made fraction museums! We used anything we could find in the classroom to make exhibitions that show you what two quarters and three quarters look like as quantities. I’m so proud of the conversations that the children were having, I particularly liked that lots of the children were using the word ā€˜equal’. We love fractions!

I’m so excited to see your costumes tomorrow for world book day.

Time To Read Tuesday

Children took it in turns to read to their partner. It was great to see everyone in Crew Meade being in their reading books and records. Remember we only change the beige boggledy book bags on a Tuesday too.

Global Warming and Climate Change

We are Geographers… children learnt about the negative impact global warming is having on climate change. They answered questions, asked questions, shared ideas and had discussions about the matters. We then investigated what would happen to the glaziers and polar habitats
