Happy birthday Isla. We hope you have a lovely day.
Be creative today. Can you make a sock puppet? What equipment will you need? Can you make a butterfly or a caterpillar? You could use it to make the life-cycle.
What facts can you find out about a butterfly?

Today is also Pyjamarama day. Can you have a story wearing your pyjamas? Perhaps you could have different stories on different days over the weekend.
A huge, big shout out to Mia, Harry and Lena.C. today for your beautiful butterfly artwork. They look wonderful! It was also lovely to see other children in F2 investigating the weights of different objects. Welcome to a few new faces on Evidence Me. It was great to see Oliver, Violet and Ryley sharing their learning online.
This morning, we have received the following letter about on line phonics lessons from Letters and Sounds which is the planning that we follow in school. The lessons start next week. Please take the time to have a read of it.
There are different time slots depending on what level your child is working on. Pink book band children will be working on phase 2. Red book band children will be working on phase 3. Yellow book band children can recap phase 3 and then phase 5. If your child is confident at phase 3 then start on phase 5.
Today has been all about caterpillars. Children in F2 have been busy, at home and in school, learning about the life cycle of a caterpillar. Well done to all those children who have made a life cycle picture or model of a life cycle. You are such a creative lot!
It’s been great to see so many of you back on Evidence Me today after the Easter break. I’m excited to start our new expedition and I can see you are too. Lots of you have been out in your gardens exploring and searching for mini beasts. Keep sharing what you find.
Look what I found in my garden. Can you guess what might be growing? Check my forest school blog and I’ll add a photo as soon as I find out.
Tonight, people all over the country will be lighting up the sky with torches, phones and pictures of stars in their windows to show support for those suffering. Please get involved- share with your teachers your drawings and photos/videos of your families shining a light ✨
