To complete our hook week this week, Geoff came in to speak to us about musical instruments and helped us make our own. After we had made our instruments Geoff played the guitar and sang songs with us, whilst we played along.

Well done to Leighton who worked super hard to get the yellow T-shirt this week! I have seen a great improvement in Leighton’s attitude to learning which has also reflected in his HOWL’s. Well done Leighton, keep it up.

Alfie and Georgia were awarded the yellow T-shirt this week for their independence and polite and happy demeanor’s.
We used our box modelling skills, to make instruments from recyclables.

All of our children have had a fabulous week, learning about how to build box models.
Our carpet was covered with recyclable items and this is what we built.
        
        
Well done to Ruby-Ann for being our Pride of Plover this week. She was chosen for working hard and showing lots of perseverance in her model making. She has been very enthusiastic. Well done Ruby-Ann.

We had a fantastic morning learning about how we could make music. Thank you to Geoff for coming in and playing music for us and helping us to learn about how sounds are made. All the children made instruments which they used to make sounds and to sing along to.
