The challenge last week was to pretend to be a farmer. We have had photos of children with wellies on, planting, weeding and looking after things. Today I saw Theo’s plants growing on the windowsill. I saw Mia’s sunflowers which she has measured and are now 76cm tall. Seb has tall sunflowers too. Can anyone beat them?

This week’s phonics is all about rhyming.
Our learning this week is focused on the book What the ladybird heard by Julia Donaldson.
Can you make your own characters for the story?

It has been very quiet on Evidence Me today but we have had photos of learning outside. Mia has been exploring her garden. Roscoe found a treasure trail in the woods. Lyra has been investigating tadpoles. Khongkwan has been exploring wild flowers. Darcy has been for a walk round the lake. He found lots of things with his sister.
Happy birthday to Khongkwan for tomorrow. We hope that you have a lovely day.
Mrs Ogle has asked all parents to complete the survey on the school website regarding your preferences for your child returning to school in June. Please ensure that you complete the form as soon as possible. We want you to know that we are taking every step to ensure your child’s safety. This means that learning will look different . We aren’t sure what this will look like yet but we need to follow guidance on such issues as class sizes and social distancing. This means that children could be in different rooms with different adults and their provision will look different, including play. We will keep you updated with information as we have it. If you have any questions, please email me [email protected]. I will try to help.

DANIA!
Well done Dania! I have been so impressed with your effort this week. You have worked hard in maths, phonics and your expedition this week and shared your learning every day. Keep up the great work!
This week I have chosen Isla. Isla is one of our Key Worker children and has been working hard at home and school. She is very kind and helpful and looks out for the needs of others including animals. Well done Isla.
