We had the snuggliest day on Friday to raise money for Children in Need. We discussed the different types of families that Children in Need supports and they showed great understanding about people or families that might be less fortunate than them. They had lots of suggestions on what we could do to help.
52 Lives Kindness Badges
As part of world kindness day and leading into anti bullying week. We designed and created kindness badges to wear and remind ourselves, as well as others… to be kind! Beautiful work 1M. Show kindness and people will spread it all around! #LovePlover
How can I be a hero to my friends? 1M
This week started with World Kindness Day. We showed our support by wearing odd socks and completing a sponsored walk to raise funds for our final product – Buddy Benches!
We were problem solvers in PE and worked on teamwork to solve the hoop games!
We had our Big Talk by the school nurses, who are experts in teaching us how to keep our bodies safe and let trusted adults know about any problems.
1M were mastering number and speedily made number bonds which had a part of 5 in.
Then finally we ended with pyjama day for Children In Need. Understanding how we can be heroes raising money for children in need and learning about why and who are positive relationships.
Shout outs to Dolunay, Jaxon, Esme and Peyton work working hard and being so kind! Have a nice weekend.

RE in Year 1
Today in our RE lesson, Year 1 learnt all about Christenings and Baptisms. Some children even acted out a role play of a Christening. They were then able to pop the key words onto the picture of a baptism scene. Super work Year 1!

Year 1 RE
I am super proud of year 1 for the work they had been displaying today in RE. Today we have been looking at what the purpose of celebrations are and why we do them. We discussed what we need to include in a birthday party after looking at pictures of what a celebration event looks like and they came up with a fantastic list!
A big thank you from KS1
We wanted to say a MASSIVE thank you from Key Stage 1 to everyone who helped raise money towards the buddy benches. We were blown away by the kind donations, which will help us buy two handcrafted buddy benches for the playgrounds as part of our current expedition.
Well done to everyone who donated money and completed their sponsored walk today. It really was a big crew effort!
We look forward to sharing our designs and the finished product shortly.
