We had fun at the spooky disco! Mr Meade led some silly games, lots of knee slides, sweeties and silliness! Some of us enjoyed a few quiet breaks watching a movie and colouring in 🙂
Bedtime Story Night
We’d like to invite all our KS1 families to join us for a snuggly night at school. Please come in your pyjamas ready to snuggle up with a hot chocolate, cookies and some good books. We will end the evening all together in our shared area listening to some lovely new stories read by Mrs Bubb. We hope you can make it. Thursday 10th November at 5pm. We should be finished by 5.45pm and return home all relaxed and sleepy 😴 ready to dream about the awesome adventures our books take us on. SEE YOU THERE X
Postcards!
All these little Superstars worked so hard in their final write over the last 2 days. They used story language, phonics, beautiful letter formation and even edited their work to make improvements. Well done 👏
Family Learning
1B and 2LP had great fun this afternoon being engineers! The children were the experts who taught their grown-ups how to make catapults. Then Lady Bubb tried to stay safe in her castle whilst it was attacked by many soldiers and their frightful weapons. In the end , she surrendered and had to relinquish ownership of the castle 🏰…then it was the grown-ups turn. The children showed no mercy! 😅 To end the fun afternoon, they shared their beautiful work in their expedition books. It was so lovely to share our learning!
Today’s Superstars!
Ruby-Ann and Riley worked hard in maths showing independence and using effective strategies to do addition. Kobin worked hard in phonics, writing words with our sounds independently! Well done you Superstars! 👏

Introducing…..
class 1B for their retelling of The Three Little Pigs! Notice how they use story language and great expression. I praise their vocabulary- ‘snarled’ and ‘cried’. I wonder if they can retell the whole story to you, at home?
The big bad wolf!
We have been retelling the story using story language. These photos show how the wolf said “Little pig, little pig, let me come in.”
Have a guess how he said it…….
He snarled!
