A Dandelion a day keeps the doctor away

Did anyone guess what I would use my dandelions for? COOKIES!

These are actually quite good for you too as dandelions are high in vitamins A, C, E and K. If you do make these, remember to think about where you pick your dandelions and what may have been near them or sprayed on them. Some people may be allergic as dandelion stems contain latex so check with your  adult first.

Here’s what you will need: 1/2 cup of oil, 1/2 cup of honey, 1 cup of flour, 1 cup of oats, 2 eggs, 1tsp vanilla essence and 1/2 cup of dandelion petals.

First mix all the wet ingredients together.

Next blend in all the dry ingredients.

Drop dollops of mixture onto a baking tray.

Cook at 180 for about 10-15 minutes.
