Good luck and goodbye to my lovely, lovely year 6’s. Thank you for making my first year at Plover so special. You really are all amazing and I hope you all keep in touch. Have a lovely summer and go and show your secondary schools in September, just how amazing you all are!

Thank you again for everyone who came to show support for our lovely Year 6’s and a big thank you to Mrs Reeve (Brett’s Mum) for her support with the event! We are going to miss you wonderful Year 6’s so much next year! Please stay in touch and enjoy your holidays! You deserve them!
Hi 6H of 2020/2021
I hope you and your families are all well.
I will be holding two different opportunities for you to join me on line for a little bit of a get together tomorrow. The two time slots to choose from are 11am and 2pm. I will send out the links/invites in the morning.
It would be great to meet as many of you as possible. It will give you the chance to ask questions and hopefully I will be able to answer them for you.
You might be feeling a little nervous – but guess what? So am I – and it’s fine to feel this way. If you do find that you are feeling a little like this, then joining me online tomorrow would be a great idea. I’ll do my absolute best to settle some of those nerves.
See you tomorrow, guys.
Mrs H 🙂
Thank you to everyone who supported our Year 6 leavers celebrations this afternoon. It wasn’t how we originally planned but I’m so pleased we saw so many smiling faces and had the chance to say goodbye. If you have any pictures of the event please forward them to [email protected] and I’ll make them into a video for the end of this week! Thank you again and I’m going to miss all of you lovely year 6’s so much!
It’s that time at last – and as much as I didn’t want it to ever come, the day of you leavers’ celebrations are now here.
Give these videos a watch and hopefully they will warn the cockles of your hearts like they did mine.
We want to wish all of our lovely Year 6’s all the luck in the world as they take their next steps in life to secondary school! Thank you all for being fabulous young people and making us all at Plover so proud every day! We are going to miss you so much next year and we can’t wait to celebrate with you later. Here are two little videos I’ve put together for you. So please watch them, enjoy and we’ll see you at 1:30 for our picnic!
We are really looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow. We would like children in uniform so they can have pictures taken on their last day. However, this is not compulsory and children can wear non-uniform should they wish.
Please remember to bring your own shirt to sign and we will direct you to your child’s signing station on arrival. Also, please remember your picnic food and we’ll see you tomorrow. Any questions please email [email protected]
Good morning 6H,
Well, hasn’t time flown? If you cast your minds all the way back to September, you may recall me telling you that your final year at primary school will fly by – and if I recall correctly, very few of you believed me.
Well, now you have just one more sleep before your leavers’ celebrations. Honestly, I don’t know how I feel about this. I’m excited for you all as it is time for you to spread your wings and move onto pastures new. However, I’m also incredibly sad because you are my crew and without you, how will I steer my ship?
I really do look forward to seeing as many of you as possible tomorrow afternoon although be warned…I will be an emotional wreck!
Have a wonderful day guys,
Mrs H! 🙂
Meet Your New Teacher!
As this school year comes to an end, we start to think ahead to next year. Our children have been informed who their teacher is going to be next year, had the chance to find out a little bit about them and are hopefully writing about themselves to share with their new teacher.
School restrictions during Covid-19 have made it impossible to complete the transition activities we would normally put in place to support your child with their move to their new class, however we would like to offer all children the opportunity to meet with their new children ‘virtually’.
We have arranged Google Meets on Thursday and Friday with all of our teachers. We have tried where possible to offer two times to avoid clashing times with classes and to provide some choice – children do not need to join both Google Meets.
Meeting joining codes will be shared via email and Google classroom.
