Mr Pickering’s Superstars!
Good afternoon 2P! I just wanted to share some photos from the last couple of weeks. Miss Lister says you have all been superstars!
Postcard Thursday!
I didn’t just give out one or two postcards today but three! I’m so proud of the children for working hard today. They really impressed me in this morning in the hall for Plover Praise whole school assembly in the hall. We all sat quietly and listened Mrs Coward. Congratulations to Aseel for getting the Plover Praise card for being a general overall superstar! All of 2B would like to thank you for being a kind friend and always supporting anyone who needs it!

Góðan dag (Good day) from Murton Park!
Year 3 had an amazing day at Murton Park yesterday. We enjoyed dressing up and visiting the Viking village. We all learned lots about the Viking settlers in Britain and found out that they were not just warriors and raiders. We made candle holders, farmed the land, ground wheat for very gritty bread and even guarded the village against a very sneaky Anglo Saxon spy!

We are bakers!
I have seen great team work in the team building sessions I have ran this week. The children had to work together to bake buns for our Plover community. Well done to all children involved this week!

We are scientists
We have been carrying out practical tests to prove the world is a spherical body. Did you know that people still believe the Earth is flat? We can prove that they are incorrect.
Stargazing
Mrs Haycock and I are so excited for Stargazing tonight. I wonder if we will be able to see a constellation or even a planet. Don’t forget your warm clothes.
