A big well done to Riley for earning the postcard for being super kind to his peers today! We are so impressed with how far Riley has come these past few weeks. Keep it up Riley!

Well done to the winners of the Air Pollution posters. The winning posters were decided by Doncaster Council and the children were presented with a brand new scooter and a helmet. A big thank you to all the children who designed posters; it was a hard decision to make.
Well done to the children of Year 3 and 4 who managed to complete the walk for Polar Bears last week. I’m please to say that most crews walked further than the planned 20 miles per crew.
The children will now be collecting their sponsorship money and should have their completed sheets with them. If possible, please could we have all sponsorship money in for Friday 4th March please.

4BW have had great fun in our music lesson today. Working collaboratively, they read and created different sequences of musical notes to perform with variety of musical instruments. Their enthusiasm was lovely to see and hear!

Ahead of World Book Day, which is held on Thursday 3rd March, we would like to invite all children to make a book character from a toilet roll tube (or something of an equivalent size that you have at home). You can bring them into your class on World Book Day and one child from each phase will win a special prize! Below are some photos that might give you some inspiration but please let your imaginations run wild! We can’t wait to see your creations! #LovePlover
Today we completed the first leg of our sponsored walk for Polar Bears and we just about finished it , when the heavens opened.
We spotted a rainbow, but Tim pointed out that it was actually the Northern Lights, as we were being like Polar Bears!
When we got back into class, we calculated how far we had walked as a crew and then worked out how much more we would have to walk each day to hit our target of 20 miles.
We would be so grateful if you could support the children in their fundraising efforts, by sponsoring them to complete this challenge.

We started our sponsored walk today, to raise money for the polar bears. Even when the rain started, the children still carried on! Same time again tomorrow Crew Lotysz.
