End of the week

What a wonderful week we have had! I hope that whatever you were doing, you had plenty of fun and remembered to stay safe.

Next week some children will be heading into school and some of you will stay at home but you will all need to log on to our Google Classroom and let me know how you are.  Next week we will continue our Expedition about the Tudors because there’s lots more we still need to learn.  We will start a new Measures unit in Maths and in English we will be looking at Biographies.

Also next week, will have an online Google Meet where you will be able to catch up with your class teacher. I’m sure that like me, Mr Pickering is also looking forward to seeing you!

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Enjoy the sunshine and take care!

See you on Monday!

Feel Good Friday

Here is this week’s Feel Good Friday! Thank you to all those who have took part! We are missing you all!

Pride of Plover

This week our Pride of Plover winner is Troy.

Congratulations Troy!  You have been working so hard and I am so pleased with the effort and perseverance you put in to every piece of work. Well done Troy, keep working hard!

Friday

Where has the week gone? It’s Friday already!

Thank you to everyone who has checked in  this week, please make sure you log on today and let me know how you are.

Today the Pride of Plover winner will be announced.  Who will it be….?

Half way.

Good morning 3P. Half way through the week already – time is moving too quickly.

You may have seen that JK Rowling released her first non-Harry Potter based book yesterday called The Ickabog. Check out the website now and maybe have a go at the competition as well whilst you are there. The Ickabog

The weather also continues to be lovely today so please make sure that you are sun safe. Wear sun cream, a hat and make sure you get plenty of a water and shade. Enjoy safely!

Have a great day.

Calling all budding artists! J.K. Rowling is inviting you to help illustrate The Ickabog for her. Every day when chapters of the story are uploaded, she will be making suggestions for what you might like to draw or paint to illustrate the story as it goes along. You should let your imagination run wild!

The best bit is, if you are between seven and twelve years old, your parent or guardian on your behalf can enter your drawings or paintings into the official competition being run by J.K. Rowling’s publishers, for a once in a lifetime chance to be featured in The Ickabog book, which is published in November. The competition is now open in the UK!

Details about how to enter, the prize and the terms and conditions are all on the website link below.

Morning.

Good morning 3P.

Pop over to the classroom to continue with the range of half term tasks. There are a range of competitions and challenges to have a go at that might take a couple of days to organise, Remember to submit your entries on Thursday so that  they are here to be judged.

Have fun and continue to keep yourself safe.

New Week

Good morning 3P!

It would normally be half term this week but the learning is still happening over in the classroom. Make sure you check in and take a look. There are some brilliant challenges, activities and competitions to have a go at to keep you busy. The activities are designed to be worked on over the course of the week so there is plenty of time to be creative and produce some excellent learning and products.

Have a great day.

Well done.

Another week is over and there is just time to do one final set of shout-outs for more excellent learning.

Reading and book reviews have been the main focus today and there have been some excellent, detailed reviews from Arwa, Shyaw and Anez in 3L and Shashank, Pranav, Alfie, Troy and James in 3P. Well done to all of you.

I have also received an excellent entry to the Tudor house competition from Esther. She decided to get creative and build her Tudor house design on Minecraft. What a brilliant idea! Take a look:

There are some brilliant challenges and competitions ready for next week’s learning so make sure you check back on Monday to see what is happening. In the meantime, enjoy your weekend and keep safe.

Feel Good Friday

Please send your videos to [email protected] no later than Thursday at 3pm.

Stay safe everyone, we miss you!
