Being kind

Edy has been very kind to other children today. She has helped them with their learning, with equipment and in their play with different ideas. Well done Edy.

Well done to Ralph for getting our listening certificate today. We can see that he has been listening by the progress he is making. You have been a superstar.

Good job Ralph.

We are scientists.

This week we have been learning about real Komodo dragons. We learned that it took three of our children lying end to end to show the length of a Komodo dragon.

We learned how a dragon hatches from an egg and used scientific words to describe it. Then we set up an experiment with an egg to see if the hard shell would dissolve, crack or fizz?

We even made dragon eggs using play dough for our dragons to emerge from.

Star Readers

Well done to Aarav and Helen-Rose who have both read 5 times this week and brought their reading books and records to school every day.

Please make sure your child gets lots of red ticks for reading at home and maybe they will win a bookmark next Friday!

Pride of Plover

This week’s Pride of Plover award goes to Emmanuel for working so hard in phonics, reading and writing. He has got his very first reading book and we are all extremely proud of him.

Well done Emmanuel!
