Welcome back to this new half term! I hope that you and your families are all well and safe? Our new exciting story for this term’s Expedition is, “We’re Going on a Bear Hunt!”. If your child is not attending the setting tomorrow, please allow them to attend the daily hangout, I have already sent you a request.
Here are Paisley’s rectangular objects. Well done!
Good morning
I have just received an email from Yorkshire Wildlife Park to say that due to current Covid restrictions they are having to cancel our virtual Project Polar visit. They apologise for the inconvenience and are looking forward to working with us in the future.
Although this is disappointing for the children, we fully understand the situation they are in. We have some other on line resources including clips from the Wildlife Park that we will use instead.

Have a safe and happy half term everyone! Here is another inspirational picture of ‘Flowers’ from Paisley, to cheer us all up! If you would like to send in happy pictures that you have drawn or painted, I’ll post them here to make your friends happy!
This link is for the local artist Daisy Watt. Daisy is a Doncaster school girl who has raised more than £50, 000 for charity, through the sale of her paintings. She likes to paint Daisies! She is a wonderful inspiration to paint, to feel happy, paint what you like and it makes others’ happy too!

Today’s learning is the last one before the half term holiday, as Friday is a Training Day for staff. After the hangout on this Thursday, the next one will be on Monday the 22nd February. Please allow your child to access these hangouts as they are very important. Should you need anything during the half term holiday then please email me on [email protected]. Thank you, Mrs Ibbertson
Wow Paisley! Excellent learning!
Thank you for sending these in!
Dear parent and carers, I have sent out another email to enquire if your child is eligible for free school meals. Even if they are not eligible, I would appreciate it, if you would drop me an email so I can add you to my list. Thank you. Mrs Ibbertson
This is very specific learning to match the blog Paisley. It is truly wonderful.
Investigating finding squares!
Paisley also watches ‘Alphablocks’ for blending the letter sounds; s, a, t, p ,i and n. Here is the link! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gumPoYj-kP8
As the Foundation 1 setting will be closed for this week, I have sent out a hangout request for all of the children in the class, to join me on a hangout at 11 am everyday.
If your child does not attend this video meeting then I am required to ring you daily, to check that you’re all OK. I have sent everyone the hangout request so you just need to click on the blue word ‘meet’ on the email.
I include the home learning tasks below and I would appreciate you sending me your child’s learning via the Evidence Me app. Thank you for your co-operation at this difficult time. It is wonderful for me to be able to blog all of the super learning, that our children have been doing at home, in order to inspire us. Thank you, Mrs Ibbertson
