Sports for Champions – Fundraising Challenge

We have launched our Sports for Challenge fundraising campaign this week, to promote physical activity and exercise, healthy active lifestyles and working hard to become a champion!

Children from F2-Y6 have all been given a fundraising form, the challenge is for children to raise as little or large of an amount over the next 5 weeks! Then if we meet our fundraising target, all the children will enjoy meeting and exercising with a World Class Athlete after half term! The benefit of the fundraising will allow the school to purchase some fantastic sports equipment throughout school!

Forms and money to be brought in w/c 22nd May. Prizes will be given to the child in every year group who raises the most money!

Crew Challenge

As part of We Care Wednesday children competed in mini crews to make the longest paper chain!

Well done Ivanna, Weronika and Antonina who made a mammoth paper chain, great collaboration. #LovePlover

1M UFO’s in Space

We have had an out of this world craft day today as part of Hook week! Children enjoyed cutting, crafting and painting their alien ufo spaceships, then learning and colouring all the plants to make their solar systems! #LovePlover

Like a Shooting Star 🌠

Where could your journey take you?

Well today we thought about the bigger picture… space! We created some beautiful work which represents shooting stars, galaxies, milky ways and comets using chalk and pastels! 🌠🌌 #LovePlover

The Tunnel – Hook Week

It was wonderful to be back with our crew today in 1M! The children solved the guiding question: Where could your journey take you?

Then solved the jigsaw to our hook week text! Before finally making tunnels and exploring where different tunnels may lead too… #LovePlover
