Pride of Plover

A great big well done to Johnny who is our yellow T-shirt winner this week. It was lovely to see his great big smile when he found out! Johnny could have been our Pride of Plover every week because he always works hard and gives 100% effort. He is a great friend and coach and we are all so happy he is in our class.

Amazing job Johnny, we are all so proud of you.

Plover Ambassadors

Our new Ambassadors had an exciting morning visiting XP East, where they had a tour of the school from their experienced school ambassadors. Our pupils really enjoyed the visit, the XP pupils were amazing and taught us how to make a tour interesting and fun. We can’t wait to start to show visitors around our school. Obviously, our first visitors will be XP East as we want them to critique our skills!

Being kind

Talliah and Kiara are always fantastic role-models. They work hard and produce fantastic learning but today they have both blown me away with kindness! In addition to completing their own learning they have been supporting other children and explaining their own ideas and understanding to enable the whole of 3LS to learn too. Well done girls!

Great home learning in 3G

It has been lovely to see that our new expedition has continued to inspire learning at home.

We have had different examples of home learning brought in, from scientific ice-cube melting experiments, to models of polar bears and even an igloo made out of a bike helmet!

Well done guys and keep it coming in!

Doncaster Then and Now

3LS have loved looking through old and new photos of Doncaster landmarks. They were surprised to see just how much it has changed. Do you remember the old Belleview stadium or what was where the new airport is? We’ve been thinking about why these changes have been necassary.

Getting smart in 3LS

We’ve had a fantastic start to the week, with three postcard winners already. I wonder who will be next?

Well done Talliah, Kai and Darwin. You have been working hard on your 6 and 8 times tables and Talliah fab work on conjunctions.
