Students in Year 2, 3, 4 and 5 have an amazing opportunity to become a Digital Leader within their class.
This is a fantastic opportunity for children to develop their own individual skills when it comes to the latest technology. Children who are successful will get the opportunity to visit XP East and potentially the Apple Store to have further training on how to use technology including iPads, MacBooks and some of the other great products that are used throughout school. Our Digital Leaders will then become the experts who can then pass on their knowledge to others.
Below is a link to the Digital Leaders website where you can find out further information.

Applications will need to be sent to Miss Lotysz by Thursday 3rd February explaining why you would make a fantastic Digital Leader. This can be done in a format of your choice including a letter, slides or even a video showcasing your IT skills.
We look forward to receiving your applications!
Kayden has been very busy helping his mum with chores around the house. From the pocket money he has earnt, he has been inspired by our expedition and decided to adopt a polar bear!
Crew Lotysz is very proud of Kayden, what a thoughtful thing to do! #loveplover

Our new Ambassadors had an exciting morning visiting XP East, where they had a tour of the school from their experienced school ambassadors. Our pupils really enjoyed the visit, the XP pupils were amazing and taught us how to make a tour interesting and fun. We canāt wait to start to show visitors around our school. Obviously, our first visitors will be XP East as we want them to critique our skills!

LKS2 have had a fantastic day at the Yorkshire Wildlife Park.
This is the first ever event that has brought all the XP Primary Schools together, and we had to mark the moment with a photo – of course!
We started by visiting the first Polar Bears area and then walked round to the second Project Polar enclosure to see the young Polar Bears. They were very active eating their breakfast and playing in the water.
On our walk round, we were lucky enough to see tigers, giraffes, and rhinos.
After a quick lunch, we had a workshop all about polar bears and got to hold a real claw and see the size of a polar bear skull. Ara even demonstrated for us what it was like to be a polar bear.
Following that we set off to the new area of the park and saw sea lions, monkeys and red pandas.
We got back on the bus with achy legs but lots of great memories!
I was very proud of all our children today – they walked all day without moaning, participated brilliantly in the workshops and used their manners all the time – well done guys!

A massive shout out to 4L for their behaviour on today’s school trip! We had such an excellent time, got to see lots of animals and enjoyed the polar bear workshop, where we learnt so much.

This week in Maths we have been learning about fractions. We have worked on equivalent fractions and mixed number and improper fractions. Extra work has been set on freckle to consolidate this learning, please encourage your child to access this. 10 crew coins will be given to each child who complete the work set for them on freckle.
