4BW postcard winners

Super well done to Frank today for being a role model to other children and working hard all day! Also to Eshal, Sienna and Isabella for being incredibly kind by welcoming a new member to our class today. The girls looked after her all day and made sure she knew where to go. They really made sure she was given a warm welcome on her first day- proper Crew!

Maths in PE

Today in PE, we have been enjoying some Maths games. We played noughts and crosses with various equipment, we made shapes and numbers with a partner and we had to organise ourselves into groups of different sizes without talking. #LovePlover

Collaborative Maths

Today we have been practising our multiplication skills in a fun way. We had to roll a dice four times to generate a three place decimal number, then we rolled it once more to make a whole number. We multiplied the decimal and whole number and put the answer on a number line. This helped us with our place value skills too.

Fantastic collaboration, 6C! #LovePlover

Celebrating our achievements in F1!

We are celebrating our fantastic learning in Foundation 1 with our daily reward postcards. We have been enjoying sharing with and caring for our friends and learning all about how we celebrate in different ways! Well done to all of our learners and especially to Alfie who received our Pride of Plover award on Friday!

Double Pride of Plover

What a coincidence! Mrs Lewis selected Letti for Pride of Plover and completely separately I selected Lola! So we are going to be seeing double yellow T-Shirts in Year 3 and 4 after the holidays! Working hard and putting in great effort must run in the family! Well done girls!

Fireworks

As day is Diwali and tomorrow is bonfire night, we decided to make some firework pictures to celebrate. The children enjoyed making patterns with glue which they then pressed down in to the glitter.

What an amazing first day back after half term. The children have been so enthusiastic in their learning and have been very kind to each other too.

Shout outs go to Pheobe and Riley for working hard in maths and challenging themselves.

Corben has been very kind to his friends and has used excellent manners.

Well done to the three of you. We are very proud of you.
