F2P Pride of Plover

This week we chose Ravija for our Pride of Plover. He has been amazing this week in his learning. He has been wheeling his wheelchair himself and challenging himself in his play.

Well done Ravija. We are so proud of you.

F2P Pride of Plover

Well done to Craig for winning our yellow t-shirt today. He has shown kindness to his friends helping them and has tried really hard in his learning. He has made lots of progress in his reading and writing. We are so proud of him.

Firefighters

This week we are learning about other people in our community. This is our third case study in our expedition. We are learning about the fire station and firefighters. We have watched videos, played in small world and in our fire engine role play.
We have some excellent examples of children knowing what to do in an emergency,

Well done to all our F2 firefighters!

What a week!

Well F2S, what a strange week it’s been! I hope you’ve all enjoyed sharing your learning with your grown-ups at home. We’ve had a busy few days, learning about measuring, practicing our phonics and finding out about festivals and celebrations.

A big shout out goes to George E, Charlotte and Helen-Rose for their fantastic learning every day and to Ruben, Aarav, Aland and Kusang for sharing learning on Evidence Me.

Have a great half term but do remember to keep sharing what you’ve been doing. I’d love to see what some of you might be celebrating over half term.

What can you measure?

The focus for maths this week has been measuring. Children have been making dough, baking, pouring water and building in order to explore measuring.

Writing Robot letters

Today, in phonics, you have been recapping ck, u, r, e.
‘r’ is part of the robot family of graphemes. They all begin with the r for robot shape. Watch the handwriting heroes and practice forming your robot letters correctly. Remember always start at the top.

Music and Singing

Today we will be joining in with singing action songs and learning how to change our voices.
