Well done to Ruby for winning the Yellow T-shirt today. She has produced an excellent piece of writing describing Harry Potter’s first train journey to Hogwarts. It was written so well, I struggled to find an I wonder. Keep up the awesome work Ruby!
Today, Noah, Lola and Agrima represented crew 5/6 and took the money we raised for Markham Main mining memorial to Dennis along with copies of our anthology of poems. The poems will be placed on a plaque to go inside the memorial garden. We feel proud of our mining community and we desperately wanted to give something back to them once we had learnt all about the miners and how they shaped Doncaster in our last Expedition. The sponsored walk was an amazing way to raise funds and we’d like to thank everyone who took part and sponsored our pupils. The anthology of poems are available to purchase for £1 each and the money raised will be donated to Markham Main. We are so proud of you all 5/6! -Miss Blackham
Well done to the lovely Lola for winning the yellow T-shirt award this week! Lola has been amazing in maths and has shown great resilience. She has worked so hard to ensure she achieved her ME and she also produced a stunning (and very informative) poster on steel in Expedition! Keep it up superstar! -Miss Blackham
Well done to Treasure…this week’s yellow T-Shirt winner in 6H. He always work so hard. He loves to spend time with his friends, reading to them and having them read to him. His infectious laughter echos around the classroom and he always brightens up our day.
I’m so impressed by this group of children: they have all been awarded Plover Postcards at some point this week for a variety of different reasons and they are so proud of their achievements! Well done guys. Go Crew Piper!
We were off to a measured start this morning as we estimated then measured our friends. The most surprising fact was that according to the girls some of their necks measure 40cm! Please recheck that ladies.
The yellow t-shirt winner this Friday is Nishal. He can always be relied upon to be a fabulous coach, a kind friend and is always working hard. Nishal has been determined to also improve his TTRS score. Well done.
A huge shout out to Summah and Nishal for winning an award from Doncaster stories for the amazing poetry they submitted during lockdown. What a fantastic achievement you two! We are so proud!
I am so proud of these three boys who have won the Plover post cards this week. They have been amazing role models and produced some awesome work in Expedition! Keep it up boys!
